Got petitioned for something I never did...

I was in OT near skyfire on my cleric last night and someone tried to petition me for something I never did... it was quite interesting... the ignoracne of some people amaze me...

There was a necro just sitting there on the skyfire ramp, not in skelie form or anything, I had no idea she was even fighting, for all I knew she could have been AFK or in tells... Someone partnered with me, we started pulling near the skyfire ramp.....

She sends me a really rude tell right off of the bat, going on and on about how I stole her space and she knows she is going to get trained and die because we are not going to be able to handle the mobs. I told her we would let her know if we needed to zone anything and how I did not know she was even fighting because she had not pulled anything in the past 20 minutes or so... she snaps back with I should have sent her a tell to ask.... I have been playing EQ a long time on and off... I have played on a lot of servers and no one ever sent me a tell when i was sitting down by myself to ask if they could pull to this general area. If you are not engaged with a mob how should anyone even know you are fighting....

Anyway, we played awhile about an hour or so (yes she was still arguing with me in tells at this time, I was really trying to be a good person and give her the benifit) then we had a rough pull... I sent her a tell letting her know we were zoning the tigers. She got really nasty about having to zone.. I sent another tell, look we are zoning them now, either FD or move, or zone.

So everyone zones...no one dies... i thought that was a good thing... figured she would get off my case, but boy was I wrong...She starts sending me tell after tell about how long it takes to set up another pet and how much mana it takes.. and so on. I play a 52 necro so i sent her a tell apologizing and said we gave her enough time to FD or mem FD and then FD so she did not have to make a new pet...and she did not die so no harm done. She said she never has FD memed and never uses it and how I just took up a lot of her time.... /boggles the time she is taking arguing with me and not pulling anything at all is taking up more time, also how could you *never* use FD as a necro when you are soloing???

This annoyed me... I told her about my necro and said that I am sorry she does not use FD.. I also said that I never had a problem making a new pet.. does not take that much mana.. besides which... our HP is a mana pool.. there is no reason it should matter... she got really mad says she hardly ever uses any form of Lich because she does not like that it eats away her HP.. at this point I was really confused.. what is a necro without Lich and Life tap spells??? I mean how could you say you are a necro when you do not use three things that make you a necro??

Anyway.. to get to the point, she sends me a tell saying she is petitioning me for purposely training her?!? I asked how she thought that happened.. she said it seemed intentional because we wanted her out of the way... She then said she did not care about how I played my necro and if I used FD or Lich.. because I was playing it wrong... (I guess the fact that I got my necro to 52 using lich and lifetaps makes me an oddity...)

I told her I could care less about this situation. I told her to prove I trained her intentionaly, she said she did not have to it was obvious... I simply said that she should go ahead and petition me because any GM in their right mind would see my two tells in the chat logs telling her we were zoning the mobs to give her time to move, FD, or zone...

furthermore.. i told her if i wanted to intentionally train her, I never would have sent her a tell, let alone 2 tells.... to let her know we were bringing them to the zone.... so that she could get out of the way!?!?!?

Finally, she told me I was a bitch, and she was glad there was not many in EQ like me.. and that she was putting me on ignore.

I am sure her ignore list is larger than her friends list that is for sure....

What really annoys me is if she just asked me nicely in the first place to move, instead of blasting me I would have most likely apologized, said i did not see her and moved.

holy shit what a crappy experience. I would've put her on ignore long ago though. my patience is thin with people that are blatently wrong and have no knowledge of their class. If what you tell us is right, there is nothing they can do, you warned her... you should be thankful to be on her list, I would never want to be associated with this person, in a group or guild ;)

You should have logged on your necro, and taken her a couple of exp yielding mob's to show her how FD works. Just to be helpfull mind you, she obviously couldn't figure out how to pull her own. :rolleyes:

Oh you have no idea how much I really wanted to bring on my necro and really train her.... Since I believe in FD, I could have grabed a huge slew of mobs and FD in front of her... god only knows she probably would not have even thrown a hissy fit or thought I was training her because since she does not know the greatness of FD, she probably would have thought I just died. hehe..

I thought better of it though because I just could not be bothered with the effort of moving my necro over to OT.

I woulda trained her with the entire OT outpost.....twice.

I got petitioned about 2 weeks ago for "training" people in bastion of thunder, I was camping Oreen's room with 3 friends of mine, and we were having a good time pulling outside of the room from left to right and back again, so I goto pull the right side and I'm missing a giant....figured maybe we killed a bit faster and I'd go get another one, and to my surprise a group of some guild was in the room ONE room away from Oreen's room(a room that was EMPTY when they got to it). I thought(and it really is) it was generally understood that the "oreen camp" encompassed most of the lower wing of that hall, and everytime I've ever been there it has, so when those 6 individuals saw fit to cut my camp in half, I just pulled straight through them...it was like 3 giants, 2 stopped to smack down their cleric and everyone else but the rogue, they nuked one so I got summoned and had to kill it there and then brought the other 2 back to my friends, once root broke. They then started to call me names and such, and took the insults to /ooc, where they were told "that's what happens when your someplace you don't belong, take my spawns and I'd train you too." I even got told wtg man a few times... The GM comes up and says, did you train the group over there, and I said no...."I showed them the same lack of respect they showed me," and he went away. /shrug I guess some GM's do show some judgement once in a while.

Well I play a bard as well as a necro. And I was in BoT. Same camp the oreen camp. But my group is doing the standard inside the oreen room. Being a bard Im pulling of course. So I pull, kill, pull,kill. Then once we cleared oreens room there is absolutely nothing there. Im like WTF.

So I take a look around and there is this group posted in the first blocked room outside of oreens. Im like ok so ill pull right instead of left they can take the lower and well take the higher. The kriegers are there anyways. Im standing there and they have all members there. And they are like WTF are you doing here stay in oreens room and wait for it to spawn. This camp gives us everything else.

Ummmm no. I was nice enough not to say anything I was just going to pull right and leave you be. Then thier bard runs past me I turn around to see him run like 6 mobs up to oreens room. I go up and they are slaughtering my group.......Fading memories GO!!!!!

After the mobs reset Im like hmmm ok. Had my log on and I took some screen shots of that shit. Go into thier room and ask. Oh so like thats the best you can do as a bard training inocent people. Hes like I would like to see you do better, we can handle anything you throw at us.

What a dumbass! I go down to the hub. Ask south and the bottom of east to move. They kindly move out of my way. I pull the first half of south which was full spawned at the time. Up to the left of east. Around the backside Grabbed all there including the mini named. And then circled oreens room.

Dropped that shit on them like the A-bomb. I got tell helled for days on that and with FM I survived lol and watched them die.

The ooc shit starts in. And all of a sudden south and bottom of east are all ooc'ing. You shouldnt have trained thier group, we even got out of the way to help him do it. I got petitioned. Emailed my logs and pictures. Ive never seen that group agian.

I later found out it was 2 roomates that 3 box and they kill all the nameds in bot. Run over people to get them if they have to. Sell looting rights in /shout for tower mobs that they exploited. And over all is hated there.

I felt better and Ive never seen him log on since.

Wow, I am glad that I have never had that experience. Some people have no idea how to play this game respectfully.. they get all upset and start bitching at people because they do not know what else to do with themselves... so they feel inadequate and they /petition people for no reason.... these people just suck...

I can not believe you both had a bad experience in the same area... People that are morons must just congregate to that area on all servers....:P

/shrug... as long as I dont run into my stupid necro friend who does not use lich or fd... I will be happy.. .she gives necros a bad name :(
