OK I was woundering who was your necro mentor if u had one.
Mine was Yanikbus in the Ayonae Ro server.
I was in a CB group with my then, and still, 14 rogue, well i asked what it was like and he said it was cool and pritty fun. well when the group broke upp he needed help buying coffins(35 and uder ones) and couldt buy them, fraction thing, well i bought them, he gave me the money and 20 pp exter, that was a lot to me at that time, and i told him i was making a necro and ask if he would help me start it. Well after about an hour of deciding class and race and all that i loged and made necro. he took me through the firsst few lvls and it was aswome. Never tought me how to kite though....maybe thates why i always die doing it?

I am on Firiona Vie.. *purrs*
I was taught everything I needed to know by my sister's wife Bellah. She moved effortlessly from birth into her 50th Season and beyond. And the person that said "it's a rush knowing that not matter what happens, you just return to the zone line and summon your corpse" knew what they were saying. There is nowhere she would not explore, fearlessly.
Watching her do this, I knew it was the life for me. When she left the world in her 52nd Season, my lonely sister (52 SK) went to the lava pits in the mountains north of Neriak, and her youngest sister Felicite stepped in to fill her place in our family. I quickly reached and surpassed my 52nd.. now I am "Lich Felicite Lileath - Arch-Lich of Innorukk".. using the skills Bellah first demonstrated to my family, many shown to her by another departed Arch-Lich "Nininaru".
And so the circle continues as I try and pass what I have learned to the young in my House.. like they listen *giggle*
Oh.. and listen to Jeb, everything he says is golden. *smiles*

I was a Druid on Morell - Thule and met Askyn Fr'Payne in the WW giant fort and for the next 20 some levels we grouped. I would always be in awe of the power and versatility that he had. I remember him transfering HP's to me and then yell at me for wasting mana trying to heal him back up :D I left EQ for a couple of years and came back and decided to play a Necro
I'm still on MT and now play a 22 Necro and I have alot of fun with him. I still have tons of questions for my Mentor which he takes the time to answer.
If you read this bro /salute

Well, I was torn between a ranger and a necro when I first started EQ. I went with the ranger.... After a few other alts I finally decided to start the DE necro I always wanted. I got a lot of info from one of the higher lvl necros in my guild and some websites when I created him. I did all the newb quests and then reached lvl 30 before I started to twink him out a bit because I felt he needed to earn it (well, earn the first 30 lvls :) ). Going good now. Cant really say I had a mentor tho.
Ranger is now 64/29 and Necro is 48. I love this class.

Mine was Phyrexian.. who is now on the Morden Rasp server.
Playing with him in a semi regular XP group made me create Perse, who is the toon of my heart (if not my guild's *wry chuckle*) Like Felicite said, I find myself more fearless on my necro than I am on much older more powerful toons. I love the flexibility and independence that being a necro gives me.
And, also like Felicite, I usually listen to Jeb... :D

I never really had a mentor. Everything I learned was from asking other folks and doing research on different sites (like this one :D ).
