A little update

1. He's going to change lifeshards. He didn't guarentee how but I'd expect the healing and refresh timers to be improved(as a minimum). That was his response when I asked for them to "go bye-bye" after explaining their detrimental effect of locking out our orb heals for 4x as long and healing for 65% as much.

2. I asked for umbra orb to be magic based.

3. I also told him about mana regen and expenditure and he said he'd look at that(not sure how deep he'll look..I got that "blown off" feeling from this).

4. I told him we wanted dots and suggested a 7 tick, poison based 900+ dmg per tick dot.

This is where he got really "wordy". He wants to a dps comparison across all classes(and said he probably has the time to accomplish this), before giving any "real" dps upgrades to anyone. That tells me that our spells are more-then-likely going to change. How, is anyone's guess.

What I'd like(and I'm not capable of doing this myself anymore) are parses from tacvi, anguish(I have some of these), demi(I have some of my own) deathknell..I don't think I kept any for myself and it'd be nice to send them a cross-section of tss raids as well.

If you have parses, PM me..please list your foci set up. Fire, magic, disease, poison. and any other pertinent information(like when you hard bards and used 7th vet(if you remember).

A question from an end-game retard: shouldn't all data used be post-TSS release to highlight the narrower gap in DPS due to other class' enhanced mana regen while we lost overall efficiency?

When I mentioned that I have some, it's what other necs sent me last time I asked(around november). I haven't raided anything except tss since mid september, and really, I can discuss that content with him..

What I need is the stuff I no longer raid...and didn't get the first time around.

screenshots of parses or logs, it doesn't really matter. As long as the files aren't huge I don't mind parsing them.

would be a good idea to split our damage into respective resists (magic, poison, fire, and *shudder* disease), because parsing on a mob that doesn't resist anything is going to lead to false ideas

Just give me full, complete zone logs. Part of this is conversations I'll have with prathun afterwards. I'm fully capable of explaining the effects resists have on our dps. That and everything is applicable..even mobs without resists. For every "AMV" there's a "Jelvan" and "hanvar". Things balance out and it's important to not supply skewed data(he'll like disreguard it all if that happens).
