He looked at it and wants to update it for dots, but there's things they "can't do with dots, that they can with nukes atm". So basically, we're screwed until it gets changed at a coding level to allow such a change.

So I am guessing that means it hits the eternal back-burner of *one day*? or are they serious about correcting this one in the near future (near by OUR standards and not theirs that is)?

I suppose for dots they could mimic the "Demand for Blood Recourse."
I expect I'd be happy with that, as long as they don't add the detrimental chance to it.

Code for DoT's just needs to be re-done. It's currently coded the same way as regen, which is sort of funny. They need to recode it and be done with it - would also help with a few other problems with stuff moding dots also.
I can't see any reason why "Critical DoT(X)" shouldn't work if it works on army of other similar spells/clickys. OoW tier 1 & 2 robes, demand for blood, call for blood etc.
How come it works there np and is suddenly doesn't on glyph of destruction? Smells like bullshit to me.
They see what 7th veteren has caused (wizzys doing 4.3k dps anyone) and don't want glyph of destruction to have the same effect plain and simple.

Nodyin doesn't bullshit. Although citing those examples, I'm not sure what the problem would be, perhaps its stackability.
I think hes out for another week Jeb btw.
Then he can just copy/paste 7th veteran aa over, rename it and change stuff needed. Or just make a separate expendable aa for dot crits using code from Curse of Muram (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/spell.html?id=6406).
Don't tell me it's not working since it clearly works on a number of aa's, spells, clickys. It doesn't make any sense.

Lol, and I have burned a bunch of AAs on this (being max AA it doesn't hurt too bad) because I thought they had fixed it.
No wonder it looked like it didn't do shit for my dots :P
