Note Experience isn't very good here be warned! But the reason I camped here is to get the words for my lvl 24 pet. The Undead ruinshould provide you with all the words for lvl 24 pet.

Lvl 16-20 camp where map is labeled, everything comes single if u carefully pull. Can use pet to tank if u have mage pet toys, consult Pauldral Cavern thread by me if u have no clue what these are. Or better yet go camp Pauldral Cavern instead experience is 4x better there. This is for those ppl who think PC is boring.

Lvl 20-24 Camp the Undead Ruin. Be Warned: Buttloads of wanderers here, watch out for them. Just kill the skelly's in the ruin leave everything else alone unless u have extra mana after u clear the ruin. Like always Buy Mage toys for ur lvl 20 pet. Go buy lvl 20 Spell: Shackle of Spirit at Echo Cavern. Pull w/ Shackle of Spirit(undead slow), send pet, heal pet w/ shadow compact, apply leach on skelly, sit and med. Personally I didn't use allure of death or dark pact, since u are using ur own health to heal ur pet. Pet will tank these w/ no problem w/ mage toys. lvl 24 pet words will drop from these skelly's when u get all 3 pages, go hit Paudral Cavern =)

lvl 24-29 Set up camp at where it's labeled on map. pull everything in front of it. That's it, these I fear kited, as they hit way too hard for pet to tank. Personally 24-29 I would go to High Hold Keep and kill goblin in basement, but if u can't find a group this is always a good spot. There's a Goblin Tower on ur left of camp. DO NOT PULL THESE, as u will have to waste mana splitting them, there's 3-4 inside there.

Image taken from www.eqatlas.com, no I don't have permission to use it. Now go away!

Has anyone else tried to camp the words lately? I have been trying all day. 6 dead pets, 200,000,000,000,000 adds. And - the level 20 pet with pet toys gets wasted by these dudes with shackle. Fearing works a little better but almost gaurentees a add or two.

I tried several combination of shackle, leach, siphon, DoTs - pet usually end up a single fight with less then 40% health.

Fearing works but with Engulfing Darkness MOB moves too fast and fear wears off too quick.

And after killing about 50 of these dudes, 2 words dropped and neither is used for pet.

I am stumped. :(

An easier way to go about it is to skip trying for the 24 pet all together.

Go buy a pearl. Go to Echo Caverns, through the secret entrance in Shadow Haven. Your target: Needlites.

It may be helpful to get a temp first, for extra hp. Up to you. When you reach the needlite cave, cast Banshee Aura, drop in, and fight the one that sits in the little crater. Kill. Notice how fast they hit, and how it's generally not for much? That's the ticket. Your DS up will make these critters practically kill themselves.

There's a safespot in what I think is the NW corner. Nothing will agro you there unless you pull. Additionally, all spawns are single pullage, except for the two in back, where the Queen's placeholder is. To break, snare one, send pet in, and let him tank for a minute while you quickly finish off the non-snared one. Then, kill the other. Ta da. After 24, just use Screaming Terror to break, if need be.

This is massively easy exp. At level 23, I soloed the Queen, without temp.

20-29 in day, no problem. Didn't even need the 24 pet. The 20 pet with mage toys was just like an extra dot.

Best advice is to pull with snare, so they don't run too far, and tap your hp back when they run. Other than that, you probably won't even need to cast much. You'll be too busy swinging and getting hit to worry about other dots.

Lootwise, needlite legs and wings sell for 2p+ each, are semi-common drops, and stackable. Plus the Queen drops her Wing (back slot armor) and stinger (average piercing weapon). Both are droppable, but the stinger is lore, so you can only have one. However, it's rare, and the entire time I was there I ended up only seeing one. She dropped the wing, every other time. You can hoard them and try to sell on your trader, and just skip to a newbie zone and hand out free armor. Your call.
Lastly, as a bonus.. you can -seriously- get some skills built up here. Since you'll be tanking, and they'll be hitting fast.. your defense and dodge will skyrocket.

Before you know it, you'll be 29, and never have even had need for the 24 pet. Plus, you should have enough coin to easily cover your spells, and maybe some new pet toys.

Haven't seen any words drop. Losing my patience here - the words aren't even on the bazaar. Maybe I will try the Echo Caverns thing.

I spent a lot of time here also, at the undead ruins. I know I have the 24 pet; not sure where I got it from though. I may have found the Words on the lil dwarf merchant in the Windmill. Vendor diving can be a great benefit!
