really can't say because it changes every expansion and we're not even remotely close to the end of god...if your talking about hp/mana effect items and not utility things like circlet of shadows that is. atm tho i'm kind of partial to the prayer ring i got other day 40% focus hitting on horror is huge.

LOLZ... Check Jebasiz's magelo. There you will see 8-10 items min. that would be considered a necro's wetdream.

I think the pet is the best but a weapon i just bought for 750pp is my favorite and its The Staff of the Dreaded Gaze

Personally mine as of a few days ago is Blood Runed Battle Wand, has Haste of Solusek on it and almost same other stats as my previous Dagger. I can cast much faster with it, and to me that means when I solo i can cast Slow, then 2 dots before mob catches up to me. Then run med pet sick and repeat. This works so much better now then it did before. IMHO

I Love staff of dreaded gaze. If your fear kiting you slap your first snare and fear on a mob and after that every other fear is free. Non stop chaining free fear is a gem. I liked My CoS to when I used to have it but I liked my Staff better. O yah those staffs are crazy rare on my server to. They are NEVER for sale in baz and the camp is just a hideous experience. So owning one is pretty neat :D. Seriously tho on my server the rarity of the staff > rarity of holgresh beads :(

Besides pets and spells I'd have to say a mount. Any kind really, all that matters is that you can med while casting =)

At lower levels, nothing comes close to beating a zheart. I had my dagger for a week before I equipped it, it was so hard for me to part with my zheart :(

Zheart is a very nice necro item, 5regen is great for a necro , and the 20 int doesnt hurt.

The zheart to me is a realy nice bit of gear pre planes or GoD drops esp seeing I am a iksar so I can keep lich up perm with min hp loss add 2 AA regen and my natural regen it makes a big difference. The Holgresh beads are a very good item but rare as hell never seen 1 yet(add rant about nerfs). Also to cap off my list would be spell haste, BA and mana preserv of 4. These with zheart will round me off til 65 :D .

it is THE ultimate doll! No young teir'dal necro should go to sleep without it. Mine was given to me by my mentor a sage arch lich who received it from his own mentor long ago, it has a sentimental valor to it ;)
