What Level for Soloing Ancient Cyclopi?

Has anyone tried this, and if so, what location/level/strategy?

You can probably kill the one in SRo at lvl 30, but I wouldn't mess with the OOT one until at least 44.

Method in either case would be fear or aggro kiting.

I have read many times that an AC spawns in South Karana, but I've never seen it and have a hard time believing it, as much time as I have spent in that zone and not seen it.

Did AC at OOT w/ no problem at 39, dooming darkness till it stick, drop vos/plague/fire dot, then fear, reapply darkness, sit and med, till he comes back, refear, 3 fears should take care of him. Having Sow helps alot. Buy a 10 dose sow potion, I got him to spawn going through 4 doses. Might wanna bring 2x 10 dose sow potion, this spawn could take a long time. Never did sro, as there's always ppl camping him trying to KS you. Just sit at OOT watch tv, kill the ph every 6mins.

Interesting you said fire DoT. Don't try that on the AC in SRo because he is 100% resistant to fire based spells. Even wizard fire lures wont land on him. You can hit him with everything else though.

Whatever you do, keep him away from the DE merchant camp. They will go after him and KS you. The first time I hunted him with my wizard they KSd me.
