Strange bug with lifeshards

I encountered a kind of pita bug tonight while kiting roots in my normal spot. While kiting I had an add pop on me, not paying attention, and it killed me just as the lifeshard procced on my cursor from wilting foliage. I respawned like I normally do, right at the camp so I could get the add snared for my kite group, but still had the lifeshard on my cursor. I didn't notice it at first, so I tried to mem snare and got the "you can't hold the spellbook open with your hands full" message. I tried to inventory it, drop it, destroy it, nothing worked. It was like it wasn't actually there, but it still kept my hands full for some reason. I didn't get a chance to try looting my corpse, just camped out and back in and that fixed it. Not a huge deal, very situational, but really screwed my kite group since we all know those wizzies can't function without us and by the time I got back in they were all dead.

I know Jeb's AFK for a bit (good luck with whatever it is btw, I hope all goes well.) but I thought I'd put this up here before I forget and to see if anyone else has had this problem.

Just to update, it happened again last night while I was kiting. However, this time I was alone so I just went over and looted my corpse and was able to inventory the lifeshard, thereby letting me mem spells again. No biggie, just a weird little glitch.
