HELPING WITH RAIDS

Hi, this may be the wrong place for this but thought it was worth the asking. I am organizing (at least trying to) a Raid to kill the General for the Final step in the Rogue Epic, I was told that alot of necro's and there pet would make a huge diff in how easily this can be done. If anyone here on the Nameless Server can help me out by attending PST to Greencorneq from 9pm est onward most nights.

If this is wrong way to go about this I apologize but am trying to help out our Guild with this one and thought this would be a good spot to start. If I can get enough Lvl 50+ necro's and the other Guild mbr's to go the Raid will take place at 9pm est on Friday night - 5 Mar 04. Figured this will take about 14 lvl 50+ necro's and we can show them what we are all about and really do something that has prob not happened before in the game. Prob there will be some who will attend just to see so many of us Necro's doing what we do best. Then when it is done we could get in groups and discuss Hunting Grounds and such and even get some Necro groups together to go get some great hunting done. I think this would be fun.

Just get doomfir's guild to kill. IIRC (it's been a while) that general guy has like an 1100hp proc(possibly lifetap, kinda like VS) so chain petting him is just gonna keep giving him sack upon sack of hps, true....you may get to the point where he dies, but it'd take an awfully long while...I remember him shredding tanks pre-velious, and even after that. I dunno, good luck I guess, You could probably all pull with lifeburn and kill him on his spawn point, ala...manaburning teams pre-nerf.

Well we did go and do this Epic, I was joined by 1 other LVL 65 epic Necro with 100AA's, we allied with another guild also and took down several Dark Elves till there was 1 left for turn in, Rogue did turn in and then MT pulled to where there were 2 raiding parties waiting. He went down fast, think we only had 1 killed, we did CH's and everyone attk'd without hesitation, no Assist call, we just told everyone load on everyone DOT, spell, Harmtouch, whatever ability people had. He died in less then a min.

Our now allied Guild that joined us helped us to complete 1 Rogue turn in but 2nd turn in did not work for some reason. It will be repeated tonight and hopefully with the same success. Will let you know how it went. Just for info there were 39 lvl 55+ mbrs, we did have a few lower lvl clerics for more heals also.

SIDENOTE: Went back last night to kill the General, we had to full grps lvl 55+ and had General at 32% then entire party started to wipe not sure what happened, anyway we all ran back got rdy again while a bard let him chase her around for a bit till we were rdy to keep aggro and next time a few others passing thru zone stopped to help and we got him and another Rogue Epic complete.

If you ever take part of this he will resist Envenemed Bolt, splurt, and some other spells, but BOD, Boil Blood, and Plaque all stuck on him, along with a few Annual Magic's on him.
