Well, I'm happy to say NT is finally back up.

We had some security issues that have now been resolved. Also thanks are in order to Richy and Gnekroe for helping me get to the bottom of the initial issue. Thanks guys!

As you can see things look quite different around here. But you'll also notice they not only look different but we've got a whole new forum system! It may take some slight adjustment but you will notice alot of great new features as well.

Dont worry too much about the "out-of-the-box" look and feel of the site. We werent expecting to go live with the new software yet and the NT2 forum skin is not yet finished.

We should have a sexy new necro skin for the boards within the next 2 weeks. For now you will have to suffer with this ugly blue vbulletin default skin.

Bear with me, and i promise it will be worth it. But please, if you find any bugs, report them or PM me!

Most of the password reset links and whatnot don't link to www.necrotalk.com. Instead, they're showing as www.upindisbitch.com.

You can use the links, just replace them with the necrotalk.com instead of the other one. Going to the default links gives me a blank page.

It shouldnt be too much of an adjustment. The default skin really sucks though :)

To use quickreply you have click one of the "quill" looking icons next to a post, that will activate it.

Never understood why they do that, but now i'm thinking maybe it has something to do with spam bots :)

It couldnt have happened at a worse time. I was in the middle of a crazy 30 hour-straight work spree at the client. Didnt sleep, didnt even go home, people were looking at me funny because i looked like a freaking zombie.

Man am I glad to see NT back up. I've gotten into the habit of spending a lot of my EQ-related web-surfing here. Good people, good info; just a really friendly atmosphere here. EQNecro has a lot of good info too, and I go there occasionally, but just doesn't feel as comfy there as it does here. There's more a family-guild type feeling here that I really like.

As far as the new upcoming NT skin for the boards;

"What's worth having is worth waiting for." =-)

Thanks Winchester. Its that kind of "friendlier" vibe that I was going for when I created NT. Glad to see its still holding strong. I only have Aryse and the staff to thank for that!

As for the NT2 skin...youve got it right on man! This skin will rock. I created the NT skin 3 or 4 years ago and have done alot of design projects since so it will be an improvement. Of course as with all design not everyone will love it. The plan is to try and keep it simple still. Nothing too gaudi.

I don't know if it's just me and I'm an idiot or what, but I didn't realize/forgot that you have to actually go in to your user control panel and checkmark the box that says "Enable PMs" since the boards switched over. Just a heads up to anyone wondering why they weren't getting any messages.
