"Edit Options" look for these check boxes under "Visible Post Elements":
You have the option to show or hide various elements of messages, which may be of use to users on slow internet connections, or who want to remove extraneous clutter from posts.
[ ] Show Signatures
[ ] Show Avatars
[ ] Show Images (including attached images and images in [IMG] code)

All default to off.

When the users were migrated over, the settings in these areas, and what Felicite mentioned were automatically set to OFF...for all 6,900 members.

I'm looking into a way to turn them all on, but in the meantime you should be able to do it manually.

Well, havin trouble with my avatar. I had one uploaded and it was workin fine, but today it stopped showing up on my posts. I went to User CP and tried deleting it with the intention of re-uploading it to try and fix it, only to discover I'm not allowed to do that. Thanks ahead of time.

Max stored PMs set to 200.

You can free up space by deleting sent messages as they count towards that number.

Umbrello, could you please set my account so I can have an avatar again? And to be able to have a pic in my sig? I'm workin on my character sig and would like to be able to use it.

Under User CP > Edit Options > Thread Display Options

Select Show signatures, Show avatars, Show images....tell me if that doesnt work.

Yeah, got those checked. But when I go to edit signature, I'm not allowed image code, image in sig, or animted gif in sig. And when I go to Edit Avatar, I'm only seeing the mechanism to delete an avatar, nothing that would allow me to re-upload my avatar ( I deleted it the other day when I couldn't see my avatar, hoping that I could reload it to get it to show). Alas, I have no way to select any kind of avatar now.

Something similar happens to me. I also switched avatars since it won't let me have the animated one, but now it won't show the other one either... thanks

I can see both my Avatar and my rotating picture SIG.

Mind you I reloaded my Avatar and had to change the coding in my SIG to VBulletin markup.

But, do you see mine?

If no, your settings should be changed (my first post on page 1 talks about where/what).

If yes, you're ready to go..

I have all of them on and I see your avatar and siggy.

I tried to reload my avatar but it won't give me the option. Also, when I try to edit my siggy it says:

I think I read a post not too long ago about Umbrello doing some site maintenance, and I don't know if that's happened already or not, but when I went into the user CP I now do not even see an option for making an avatar (used to I had a link I could click but it would not allow me to make one). There's no link at all now. Nor can I upload an image into my sig. It's not really all that big a deal, just thought I'd mention it.
