Zombie Outbreak lost Bash

Prior to our last patch day, I had zombie outbreak rk. 1. After the patch & emergancy patch, i bought rk. 2 the next time I logged in. I immediately noticed the pets were no longer stunning the mobs, and log viewing showed they did not bash or kick. This was reported on the official forums in the patch bug thread with log snips, and in the necro tomb. Nobody gave it any mind; I passed it off as a buggy thing with rk. 2.

I bought rk. 3 a while back, and the same thing - zombies are not bashing, nor do they kick. Surprisingly, nobody else is seeing this...or cares. Pretty hard to get any attention to a reported bug when only one person claims it exists. I guess unless you are kiting you really don't notice such a thing - but the loss of bash/stun/interrupt is a big deal for me.

Today I used AotD & ZO on the same type corpses; Army pets bash like no tomorrow and kick. Zombies do not, ever.

I cannot post actual logs, the single fights where I proved this are 55k+ characters lengthy, and if anybody is untrusting it will take 4 fights minimum (zo & aotd v. 2 mob types).

I'll look at some logs and see. I don't often look at swarm pet stuff.

Does the epic pet still stun? I ask because it will have the same name as the swarm pet in the logs, 'Soandso`s Pet'.

Don't pets only stun mobs with equal/lower lvl then their own? If so there's not a lot of much modern content where epic pets can stun :D

Our summoned pets only stuns mobs of equal or lesser level.

I know for a fact that our now light blue conning epic pet can stun mobs that are yellow con to a 75 though. Same (or used to be) with WTD.

I am an avid parser, and I lose DPS on purpose soloing to get accurate logs of stuff. If anybody want's the real skinny on pet dps (without all the benefits of raid buffs, etc) I can heap you enough dissapointment to keep you offline for a week. I never click epic & wtd/aotd/zo at the same time...unless I am taking down a named in full pucker mode which invalidates that fight for a baseline.

The epic (1.5) still bashes, it still kicks. Wake the Dead still bashes, still kicks. Army of the Dead still bashes, still kicks.

Zombie Outbreak only has lost kick & bash.

On the stunning...the 1.5 epic pet hasn't actually caused a movement stun via bash for me in a long while. It still goes through the motions and logs plenty of kicks & bashes. I haven't faught caster mobs in a good while.

This morning when I created a Army of the Dead hotkey after I decided to parse I had forgotten how effective aa pets stun/bash, reducing kite distance significantly. It is one of those things you can see plain as day. Tag a mob, fire off army. Tag another of the same mob, fire off zombie.

One last thing of note: when I realized that the zombies were no longer causing movement halts via stun/bash and investigated my logs? If I had found "Imoloch's pet tries to bash a xxx" or "Imoloch's pet bashes xxx" a single time I would have dismissed this whole thing to mobs shrugging of stun effects. I am not claiming our zombie pets are unable to stun mobs - I am saying our AA pets Zombie Outbreak have lost the ability to kick and bash. Stun is a possible effect of bash...can't stun if the pets don't even try to bash.

I've looked at some recent parses with everything turned on and I'm not seeing ZO kicking or bashing either. Hrm... I wonder if they globally applied the no-kick thing to ZO pets for some reason and it somehow prevented bash as well...

Roger that, already there. IMO the dps increase with zombies is entirely negated by no stuns. I'll have to fire off zombie every day though to check for stealth fix.
