I'm looking for some AA advice. I have approx 375AA, having maxed dot crit, working on dd and lifetap crits, some survivablity and utility. I have not trained any WTD aa's because I seem to constantly hear that their dps is so low (is now the time to work pet aa's?). My To-do list includes more defensives, finishing dd and healing, as well as the fd aa's. But, I'm looking for any and all advice.

I almost exclusively solo and am unguilded. I do not raid. I currently kite in either Katta or Atiiki. I've tried to work towards kiting efficiency with higher dps, better mana efficiency and minimizing downtime. I added Blood Magic (not on Magelo yet) to try to save med time, and am just now experimenting with it.

So, can any of you more experienced necros provide any guidance in what direction I should work next?

I only have about 100 aa's more than you... But, I've been focusing on my stats and defensives. Although now I'm in a raiding guild, I used to be in a family guild, and most of my time is spent in kiting. Defensives have help me A LOT in this department. Also worked on the healing portion of my lifetaps. I like lifeburn (if you haven't got it yet) FD aa's are a must specially when you get those sorcerors and enthrallers added to your pull.

My first aa's were bought in a highly erratic fashion, so this is as much advice as I can give.

I'd definitely go with the pet flurries. Those have been shown to be a good investment. I also believe reading somewhere that the AAs that increase the crit size on your DDs have been made or will soon be made to also effect our DoT crits, but I could very easily be wrong. If I am, I'm sure there's someone around here that knows for sure.

I have about 450 AA's. At your point i decided to quit messin around and finished out all my defensive AA's. I'm 10AA away now from finishing that.

Thank you all for your feedback. Looks like I haven't overlooked anything too catastrophic. I'll make the drive to finish out defensives then start working on those fd AAs. After that back to dd and heal crits. May toss in a WTD-type of AA for novelty and test out the flurries.

I had been watching that pretty closely, praying for it to happen, but unless I missed something, it hasn't gone live yet. They said that now they CAN make it affect dots, but have not. My theory is they're going to put in a separate line of AAs that will affect dot crits with the next expansion, but so far, none of the fury of magic line do affect dots, only our crappy nukes. I could be wrong though, and it'd be damn nice if I was.
