I did not see these listed anywhere else... though I may have missed it.
Since the wonderful patch yesterday I have no friends list, no access to chat channels, and worst of all pet/mob pathing (in icefall anyway) has gone straight in the toilet. I have had 3 deaths now due to mob warpage where there was NONE before.
Anyone know if/when they are going to patch the patch?

Bugs like this are what I would expect from a new expansion launch.
They screwed the pooch big-time.

It certainly felt the crit rate & exceptional heal rate was out of whack! So I dorked around a little-
Casts of Drain Life rk. II = 83
Drain Life critical blasts = 14 (16.8%)
Exceptional Heals = 14 (16.8%) 4 were crit/exceptional combos
My low sampling rate is not enough to warrant cries of nerf, but it is vindicating when your gut feeling parses accurate. I even zoned twice while doing the above - not including the manditory zoning requied to get AA's working.

you're gonna have to do alot more casts than 83 i'm afraid.

Pet pathing seems to be completely jacked. I haven't had any problems with mobs warping on me in a while but my pet seems to have no idea what he is doing. I spent the week prior to the patch kiting Vergalid with no problems and now I am lucky if my pet gets to the mob when it is around 50% health or so. He does that little stutter step stuff where it looks like he keeps trying to recalculate the path to the mob. Annoying, but whatever. The quicker /who is enough to keep me quiet.

AoTD is fucked for anyone who has deleveled since purchasing a rank with a req lvl higher than they are now. After the patch the hotkey I had was renamed "not usable" and after going to the AA window and creating a new hotkey I am now told "you must be lvl blah blah blah to use this skill....
Being of lvl to use the highest skill I purchased I can understand... but I am high enough for the first lvl of AoTD yet and not only can I not use the first skill ranking like before the patch since they combined WTD with it I cant even use that anymore either so i'm out a decent amount of AA and a skill I actually used every 6-8 min while grinding.

On the pet pathing-
I've found that if I use pet backoff and follow at the corpse of my last mob, the pet has a vastly greater chance to follow me around instead of being tagged at the last corpse and ghost until the new mob is within range. Initially I was seeing the pet actually engage when the mob is around 10-30% health or basically on top of the old corpse- now I'm fairly consistent at getting it to tag the mob in the 70-80% health range. Any increase in elevation seems to play problems with the pet pathing - decreasing elevation does not.
Zombies/army is about 50/50 on just ghosting the entire time from the corpse they were summoned from - haven't figured out how to alleviate that. Epic pet has had zero problems.
NPC pets have the same problem for those that are bored & want to tag some named mobs. In Icefall all the orc & wolf named mobs can be split from their pets now very easily. Cast root or something on a pet, and run far enough away to suit you - where you feign. After the two minutes is up, the named mob will path back to it's spawn or route, while every pet will remain glued to the spot they stopped when you feigned. It's comical to park pets on routine paths players run to camps...
Tarnuk Farwalker, Lowfire & Grimjaw all took the dirt nap to yours truely this morning. The few deaths of my own & spent temp. aa were worth it for the thrill. If they are going to mess with my pets - it's only fair play to go along with the theme.

Man on Saturday night's Time raid we had a helluva time with the gods. No longer able to pin them in the corners. We had to hold them out in the open and surround them, cause they kept slipping into the walls and anyone attacking from range kept gettin the message they could no longer see the target. Was extremely frustrating for the casters. Haven't had any trouble with pet pathing issues as yet, but man, mobs falling thru the zone geometry is screwed all to hell. Also having graphics issues nightmares. Can barely 2 box anymore. Textures are dissappearing and turning all white, whether it be zone walls or players, and if I try to start up Explorer to look up something, I actually get a message that there aren't enough system resources to execute. Way to go Sony! You continue to lower the bar of mediocrity!

WTD is still separate.

he's right, for once.
My problem with this patch, as far as issues.. Would be pathing, aa window being annoying to navigate at best, item windows looking dreadful, and melee not having to worry about push making their time playing this game just that much easier so that they can enjoy some of the finer things in life, like maybe having a glass of water while raiding, while casters are still stuck with the same 100% attention omg ae mana drain + resists that we've always had.
EDIT: oh I just got hit by an ae that makes it take longer to cast spells, making my dps suck even more balls.
The bs we love melee stuff is making my desire to log on less and less by the second.

I guess the RNG is being unkind to me-
Lifetaps: 1788
Critical Blasts: 300 -- 16.77% (expected 22%)
Exceptional Heals: 372 -- 20.80%
melee not having to worry about push making their time playing this game just that much easier so that they can enjoy some of the finer things in life, like maybe having a glass of water while raiding, while casters are still stuck with the same 100% attention omg ae mana drain + resists that we've always had.

Try playing a melee dps class on raid and you'll be glad you're a caster.

Personally, I'm not a "rob Peter to pay Paul guy". Just because someone got tossed a bone, doesn't mean it takes anything away from me. Melee push was out of control. The line of sight issues that created (at times) was more then just a little annoying.
For my part, I really don't see the difference between a stationary mob dying in the middle of a room, or a stationary mob dying in a corner...except, there's less LoS issues in the center of rooms.
I don't notice my dps "sucking balls" too often(except with trash clears). Perhaps you could highlight events where you think we're subpar in that regard.

Add to that: Try playing a casting tank class (Shadow Knight/Paladin) on raids with a shitload of melee dps and pets pushing the mob about as fast as you can run backward, and try casting while doing that.

Melee push was way out of control, this change needed to happen a long time ago.
Resists haven't been an issue since Anguish, providing your debuffing classes are doing their jobs. Seeing as a sizable percentage of your gear comes from Anguish, then I'm guessing those are the resist issues you're complaining about.. If that's the case, that dead horse has been beaten for the last 2.5 years, it's not a new thing, nor is it going to change at this point.
Mana drain & spell slow AEs affect more than simply your ability to do DPS. For starters, spell slows are often accompanied with a melee slow component, so that not only affects your DPS, it affects their DPS as well. Secondly, mana drain effects not only affect your ability to do DPS, they affect the ability of any casting class to perform their jobs... My primary job is pissing NPCs off, how can I do that without mana? How do healers do their primary job without mana? How do Enchanters do their primary job without mana?
Bottom line is, be a little less selfish, the game isn't all about you.. it's not called XanaronQuest.

I think alot of people have a hard time with the communal point of view where EQ is concerned. I come home from work, log in and play for me, not the collective group of people who happen to chat with me while we're all killing something. :)

If they knew what was good for them, it would be called AegrusnecroxQuest! However they probably couldn't spell it, so I'd let them keep it called Everquest.

Gotta love losing events because of mobs turning due to the precious "dps parse". This isn't a single person game..what makes your guildmates stronger makes you stronger.

At which point does parsing dictate cause for investigation i.e. surpass flukes of the random number generator?
Lifetaps: 9297
Critical blasts: 1541 @ 16.57% Should be 22%
Exceptional heals: 1931 @ 20.8% (thought our rate was higher but I'm probably paranoid, magelo is way out of date, this line is maxed for me)

Considering that melee crit rates have seen a sharp decline (Maddoc has isolated the likely cause for some of the classes, but not all of them), Healing Adept is now giving a bonus 1% that it wasn't before, and several other percentage based AA lines operating at erroneous percents... I think it's safe to say that an investigation is justified at any point really.

Well, glad I was to see Maddoc discovered the problems with aa, and yes we did lose the last 3 ranks of nuke crits. I hope everybody forgets about our extra blood tithe ranks accidentally given last patch and it stays.

Enh, why forget? It's unlikely they will come up with anything more creative. They will just reappear in November.
What is the crit rate fully maxxed anyways? The descriptions are annoyingly vague, and there must be a point of diminishing returns.
