Where does this spell come from? and is the 400dmg to 230 mana worth it? I would like to think so, but then, I don't think about that too often, heh..

I'm Pretty sure thats the one I got In Iceclad at the Gnomes. Ice clad Gnome outpost, Incidentally while you are there Pick up some Canteen of Slush water. You'll thank me later more for those than Spell Info.......

I'm 90% sure you can buy it in Thurg too. AFAIR it's in the same place where you do the Shawl quests, just a different NPC.

Are y'all referring to Tobas' Acid Blast? According to Lucy, it's a level 34 207 dd to 220 dd spell and can be bought at the gnome pirate camp in Iceclad from Xorbinasticalus Zimralicus (love that name!), or from Thurgadin from Loremaster Dorinan.
The Poison Blast spell is found in PoK library and I believe it is sold by Heretic Drahur. I'm not high enough to use the spell, but it looks like the primary advantage is cast time.

Are you sure it's in Iceclad and/or Thurg? There's Torbas Acid Blast and then there's this, Torbas POISON Blast.. I'm just clarifying that if anyone needed it B)

Save yourself the time and effort. The times you may use this will be rare indeed, unless you like long med sessions. If you're soloing, you're better off using your dots. If you're in a fast paced group where you feel compelled to DD for the sake of doing damage to the mobs, you'll be OOM in no time. You're better off saving your money for other spells as I wouldn't even waste a spell slot with this after a few weeks of being dissapointed with it.
