Epic--Chardok question [Archive]

I have been at this point of my epic for some time, and recently aquired a later piece so I decided to move my epic along some. So my question is how strong of a force will I need for the herbalist area? I haven't been to Chardok since the revamp so I am at a loss. I am 61 necro, and have 2 friends that were looking to help. One is 60 shaman and the other is 58 monk. Would the 3 of us be enough or should I fill the group out?

at lev 61 you should have no problem soloing this guy, there is another post somewhere on this board about doing it with pet pulling. I did it a lil different though.

I myself farmed faction in mine of nurga for 2 days so i was not KOS in chardok, if you plan of running to the other zone you will need to familorize yourself with the zone, it is real easy to get lost. he spawns inside of a hut with 2 other mobs, he is the middle spawn. if you look around you will see ALOT of other mobs that will add if you pull him, across the water a bit near the waterfall there is a zone out to Chardok B(think its a level or something you have to click on).

You will want to get buffs, mainly HP's before you go down there solo. I tried doing teh pet pull tecnique, it works but as soon as I got up from FD, everything aggroed on me and I had to zone, after losing about 10 pets, i gave up on this.

I just loaded siphon strength spell, ran just to in range of herbalist(or the PH) and cast it. immediatly ran near the ChardokB zone and spammed Darkeness till he was in LOS, Darkness would hit just as him and the other mobs got withing melle range of me. You will take a beating but click on the Zone to ChardokB to get outta there. Once in Chardok B, cast a Leach spell on one of the mobs there and quikly zone out back to ChardokA. when you enter ChardokA, you should see the herbalist(or PH) standing there all by himself out of aggro range of everything else, let your leach spell get your HP's back up. Then move out og his aggro range and Root him, redarkness and dot him to hell, May want to keep DMF up and hover over the water since there is not very much space there to root rot him. once he gets to like 20% alot of the times He will start to Gate, so start nuking like crazy to kill him quik.

I know this is prolly not the best way to do this but hell it worked for me, I died once doing this, only cuz the bastard rooted me and then he unrooted and I was trying to reroot him instead of FD like i should have. I did howver get extremely lucky in this camp as I have been told, I killed 3 PH's then herby pops and dropped the herd first kill.
