How exactly do I get it, and is it worth the hunt to get it??? Better to just wait it out till I see in bazaar and just keep exp'in with the 63 pet or should I try to go and get it?

I imagine your talking about the 65th level pet spell. There are two ways you can get this. Either buy it from the bazaar or go hunt in BoT and wait for a glyph to drop and then turn it in to the necromancer in the PoK library and you might get it.
I think its worth it

I search the bazaar on necro spells 2-3x a day hoping for PoP bargains and I haven't seen even a ridiculously high priced copy of CoB in the bazaar for over a month on Quellious. :(

I always try to check the bazaar for future level spells when I can. Since the prices can vary dramatically from trader to trader, I'll snag anything that looks cheap. I'm so behind the curve on research, I kinda gave up on it and look for bargains on the upper level spells whenever possible. I'm sometimes surprised at how cheap some of the spells I bought were.

It's not really a viable tank for anything other then farming, it's mitigation is only slightly better then LoZ, and it's dps is a marginal upgrade...the DS is laughable and a cause for some of the problems with controlling him at times, since while it's buffing itself he ain't gonna do another damn thing until he's done. I use it only cuz I have it and got it for free....There are many more beneficial spells then Child of bertox IMO, Like if you had to choose from Loz and Touch of death or COB by himself...I'd go with the first combo, but that's just me.
