I have been soloing the Grey off and on now for a couple lvls and only major spell you will need there is DMF or some type of EB item. I soloed the snakelike mobs mostly since they could be pet tanked when they are slowed. The golems are nasty since you go spinning every time they bash you. I would kite them along the wall with few adds.
A friend suggested that I should try kiting around the temple and I was wondering if any of the older necros have tried it or have done it and can give an advice on the matter. I am open to anything.

Dunno Personally i've seen it done but you have to be rather tight to the temple.
Otherwise 10 feet away could bring more shissar. But Why Hunt here man there's a 13% Exp Penalty and there are muuuch better places for exp at 52.
Try Nightmare Look in the 1 to 63 in a month guide good advice there.
unless actually go to ssra Or farming a Lucid Shard i'd leave this Waste alone.

I try to stay away from the more commonly camped zones since I have pissed alot of 65s and their second account twinkies off. They seems to want to come and camp steal without asking if you are camping it or if it is camped. I was just looking for some place different then Ruins of Paineel, BW gaint fort, Dulak, PoI, SF, and City of Mist.

Aye Bud I feel your pain. But to me the exp penalty does'nt make it worthwhile.
Try Velks Lab as well not bad at all and velium drops left and right.

I spent alot of time around the temple fear kiting golems and shissars. The shissars is where I learned to FD pull. I really never cared that much for the camp, the drops were not worth looting and better exp could found elsewhere. Like you, I just kinda did it for a change in scenery. Then I noticed a pathing change. Use to be you could pull with DD, send in your pet, then fear and the mob would pace back and forth along the temple wall. Now when you fear, they head off into the desert and gather friends. It's still very doable, but a little riskier that it use to be and the exp just isnt that good. Too bad you don't like the giant fort in BW. I spent several levels there, and when the exp dried up, did some aa there. Never had a problem with other people. There was usually enough to go around.

I don't hate the gaint fort in BW. It just seems like everytime I get the fort camped, some 65 and thier second account twinkie come along and camp steal. I wouldn't mind sharing the camp since I get it about half cleared before the gaints by the bottom ramps start spawning again.

The Grey was a good place to go when the Pathing was still messed up... but, since it was fixed a long time ago, it's not really an efficient place to camp. You'll have to slow/pet tank everything... golems can be tough for lvl 49 pet and the snakes aren't very good exp. (Feared mobs use to run back and forth along the temple wall, now they run straight to the snake ruins when feared)
I'd recommend staying clear of the Grey.
Katta is a great place to solo in the low 50's... at the Twilight Sea side you can get constant pulls with a huge kite path, you'll figure it out quick.

Can the Katta guards be single pulled? Is there a camp near a zoneline? About how much experience do they yield at 51?

In the graveyard, you'll have to fd split a few until your 53 or 54 (sorry dunno) but you should only have to do that once, keep the spawn broke and it's just easy easy exp...one tip though...bring your pulls fairly far back in the graveyard so the fear doesn't send them to far.
