pet and feign death

when i go dead, will the mob attack my pet or will he forget both of us? Please answer for if pet is on hate list, and if pet is not on hate list. Never had FD before. Thanks!

If your pet has attacked the mob at all, then when you FD the Mob will go after your pet. If your pet has not attacked the mob and is not on its agro list then when you FD your pet will be ignored by the mob.

okay.. so say he is on the hate list, after the mob eats him, will he still think im dead? or will he have me for desert?

if you are feigned, and your pet is feigned, and the pet dies, the mob still thinks your feigned, and will leave you alone.

also, if you are feigned, and if your pet isn't feigned and the mob kills it, the mob also still thinks you're feigned and will leave you alone.

Also, if ur feigned,and u sic pet after mob,and then pet feign....u can unfeign,but if u unfeign ur pet if mob isnt dead, it comes back and finishes off little goober..

It be nice if we could get 'Rapid Pet FD',and if our willfull death could tie in with the pet as well....

You can clear aggro like this by summoning your pet to you (nice if you left boner within range of lots of nasty mobs), and then suspending him. Once the pet is suspended the aggro is clear. Then unsuspend your pet.

Suspend is a wonderful AA. A must have.

I've never been able to suspend pet once he's gotten agro, citing the "your pets attention is elsewhere" error message. Or something like that.

Feign the pet and then suspend.
