I know info has been posted here before, but as a camp on Al'Kabor this is a nice one. So I will summarize the camp here.

I. Getting to Camp. Invis and take Halas stone from PoK. Turn east and slightly south (taking the right hand of the two passes throught he mountains) then turn fully east and run to loc +2000/-7000. You will see a forstress entrance (this is the entrance to Permafrost).

II. Kiting Area. Basically, north of the fortress along the zonewall is add free. Directly in front of the gate, a barbarian with a polar bear in tow, occassionally runs up to the gate. If you are KoS to barbarians, you might wanna be a little careful about kiting right in front of the gates. Since Shelobe is KoS, I just kite north of the castle.

III. Pulling. There are 3 Ice giants. One each in alcoves to the left and right of the gate after you enter and one more a little inside the tunnel on the right. None add. You can pull right to and through the gate to the kiting area. Repop timer is 6 min.

VI. Loot. The loot is similar in terms of coin as Hill Giants in Rathe but the dropped loot is more plentiful. So, if possible you want about 4 or 5 10-slot empty bags and 2 of them at least should be 100% weight reduction for the fine steel weapons. There is no place to sell that caters to DEFs that I know of in Everfrost so you have to gate out to sell and you want to stay as long as possible before you get encumbered.

V. Other info. The Ice giants seem to have around 3500 HPs and are level 39-42. I use one casting each of Scourge and Asystole and usually 2 castings of Dooming Darkness and Venom of Snake per kite plus my Cackling Bones pet (taunt off) per kill. The mob dies right around the time Scourge duration ends i.e. about 2 minutes. If I have Call of Bones running, then I have to Vampiric Curse 2X during the kite and about every other giant I have to Lifetap to maintain HPs.

Using CoB, I can only kill 2 of the 3 before respawns. With KEI you can kill all 3.

I do not know if this is true on the PC or not, but on Al'Kabor IF Call of Bones is up and you FD, the mob ignores FD and beats on you. You have to drop Call of Bones BEFORE you FD. I hope they fixed that on the PC because IMHO it's retarded that you can't pretend you are dead sucessfully when you look like a skeleton already. Because of this I tend to get KEI if it's available (OK--so flame me but also realize that KEI = 14 mana per tick on Al'Kabor, but CoB is only 8 mana/tick). I may be a necro, but I'm not stupid, I can do the math. With the retarded "No FD with CoB" probelm, that makes me sorta hate the darn spell.

I rarely die, but the 4X or so that I have died in the last 10 levels I can now all attribute to FD failing due to CoB being up and not being smart enough to figure this out sooner.

Al'Kabor doesn't have Wayfarers camps? That came in with LDoN IIRC

On regular servers too these mobs are good loot/exp mid to high 40s. My approach is a tad different, and works well for me.
At the fort that leads to the Permafrost zone there are rooms to the right and left with IGs inside. Stay as close to the middle as you can and head down the hallway, there are two little rooms off each side halfway down. hug the left wall and get into that room, there is an IG straight across the hall. Root rot / pet tank /nuke this one down. He can go the whole length of the hall without getting his buddies to add if you fear kite, but you need to keep him rooted to keep his friends off of you.
It is important you kill this one first, then move on to the two in the rooms you first passed. Back against the wall and near the exit to the tundra, and angle yourself towards the IG you're going kill (remember the order you kill these in too, helps with spawns later). Send in the pet, let him get aggro, cast Dooming Darkness, then immediately cast Invoke Fear. if you're standing in the right spot he'll head down the hall towards the Permafrost zone. If he doesn't he'll head out to the tundra and add his buddy. Just FD and try again, but you'll most likely lose your pet and need to kill the hallway Giant first again. Once he heads down the hall stay where you're at, avoid the side with the IG left standing, and dot the heck out of the feared/darknessed one. Before he hits the zone Invoke fear should wear off, either root rot him in the hall or fear him again, but keep in mind if he hits the Perma zone he will disappear until fear wears off and then reappear and try and kill you. You'll learn the pathing soon enough and this will be easy. Repeat the process with the third IG (if it takes a while to kill the first one make sure the hallway giant is still down, you do not want an add here, it will cost you your pet if your lucky or your life if your not). Once you get this system down you will have a constant flow of exp and pp. Just remember the spawn order (I always do Hall, right, left, Hall, right, left, ect.) The Way Farer's camp will sell to you, but what I do is bind right outside the fort and use my CR clicky stick from anniversary ed to port and sell then gate back. With six backpacks I usually still have empty space by the time it refreshes (throw away the Toes, Flame of Vox, Gloves of Rallos Zek, and Essence of Winter. Also throw away simple etched runes. The rest of the stuff sells well, gems especially, plus they're light and they stack. Flame Agates, Pearls, and Ivory and big sellers. If you're short on space trash steel torques, gold rings, and silver amulets, these are worth about a plat and a half but FS weapons are worth 5 on average. Using my method I can get two orange bubs of exp and about 750pp in the hour and twelve minutes it takes my staff to refresh. The best part of this method is containing the monsters better, and Tundra Jack never comes inside the fort. There is a barbarian NPC that runs from Permafrost towards Halas, red at 48, but he is indifferent to an Innoruuk worshipping frog, so I assume he's indiff to all. Hope this helps!

Go see Nelin Signus. In western trader bldg of PoK to purchase 10 slot Deluxe Toolboxes for about 1pp each. The extra space is invaluable. If you can sell it, don't throw it away (at lower levels, especially!). Plus, if you are storing up on FS weapons and stuff, it's nice to have the extra space. Now that coins are weightless, it really makes a difference!

I'll have to replace my backpacks with those 10 slot containers, thank you! The only reason I suggested throwing away the aforementioned items is that they are relatively uncommon drops and sell for only 5 to 8 gold. Sure that's not bad money, and they stack, but you'll usually never get more than 3 in a session, and that same slot could hold a 5pp FS weapon or gem. But 8 gold is 8 gold, so if you get a bunch, definitely sell them, but I have to stick to my guns about throwing away the IG toes, they sell for 8 gold too (152 CHA) but do not stack. They are used in research runes though if that's any use to anyone, but in the time it would take to camp these either camp Gornit in the OOT (he drops FG, HG, and IG toes) or camp the binding powders to skill up research.
