Doubloons

Anyone know of a mission where I can have a friend sit afk in the group with me and solo them?

I was messing around with this the other day but couldnt find anywhere they didnt actually have to physically be in zone to "purchase a ticket".

I have 3 accounts but my computer cannot handle all 3 in any zone that is por and beyond. I can almost always find someone willing to suck up free orux or doubloons though by sitting with me and my two.

Pretty simple too, just have to kill a bunch of those cannibal types on the island, nice and relaxed, quiet place to kite. I think I just lucked out and happened to find and easy one since it was the first one I picked. I'm 100% positive too that the people in my group were not in the zone with me, think they were in the guild hall as a matter of fact.

I figured it out, and feel stupid. The posts I read on Allas were wrong everyone does not have to buy a ticket to go to the zone everyone going has to buy a ticket then get on the boat to actually go to the zone.

If I had stepped on boat to start with I would have figured this out but =P

Thanks for the reply Evilll, was because of you I thought to take that step, thinking wtf I doing wrong.

Hey, don't feel bad. When I did that quest, I was just about done with the hand aug quest, so needless to say, pretty familiar with all of the islands in TBS after spending a week there. So I got the quest, bought the ticket...then promptly RAN over to the island (which of course, was directly across the entire freakin zone) and started to kill. Killed a couple of the cannibals before I realized my quest wasn't updating. After scratching my head with a dumb look on my face, I realized I never zoned into an instance. Ran back to the dock where I got the quest, hopped on the boat, and zoned into the instance, haha.

Get your "group" on and go talk to Daemon Darkdawn. Hes in The Barren Coast. his 1st 4 are soloable.

Have you tried turning off all of the newer graphics except the one for your race and mounts? Then you can just crank down the clipping plane on your two boxed toons...should let you box all 3. You can also turn off some graphics options on those other two toons (not on Larks).

Old school graphics are what let me play on my gimpy ass laptop when I'm on the road...
