Summoned pet weapons and Areana

I read SOMEWHERE....either here or Allakahazam.....about a way to keep your summoned pet weapons and not have them disappear when you logged. Unfortunately I can't locate the information again.

The best I remember is you go to the areana and have someone kill you and when you log back on you can "return to the areana and everything will be as it was" when you died.....no xp loss and summoned weapons still there. Any update or better information on this?

I just killed my friend there and he respawned back in POK. Does he have to run back to the Areana and loot his corpse there?

Or does this not work any longer.

Any help will be greatly appreciated...the pet weapons make a HUGE difference!! Was so much fun but they are expensive.

The idea is to have your pet weps on you, then duel someone, anyone who can kill you. You don't loose xp from dying in a duel. Then you can log out. When you come back, loot your pet weps off the corpse. They'll still be there. Don't have to be in the arena. Anywhere that you can fight/duel someone works.

That makes sense! After I killed him in the Arena and the pet disappeared, I figured weapons would have to be on person. Only other way would be to hang out in bazaar in Trader Mode and hope they didn't do a patch or go LD.

You can also go to PoK and shroud to something then log and your pet will maintain its weapons.

That works if the pet is equipped with the weapons, but anything in your own inventory will poof after 30 min. He was asking how to keep the ones that were in his own inventory.

Thank you for the additional info....what level to get a shroud?

I was originally interested in how to keep the weapons on the pet....he was so awesomely equipped and just kept killing and I wanted to keep him.....but now it seems I have 2 ways to go about it....that makes my pocket feel very good indeed !!
