I have so many dots, ranging from the high dmg and short curses to the long lasting plague lines.
Most notably ever 5 lvls I seem to get a new round of these 5.
Long lasting Disease
Stat lowering / damaging Disease
A short Poison
High dmg Fire dot
High dmg Curse
Anyways, I'm just curious, should I be using like 1 line and using all the different ranks, like the 80,75,70 etc versions, or should I use one of every dot?
I want to kite and kill QUICK and efficiently. please help :)

QUICK and efficiently
That is a bit of an contradiction.
necro dps is fundamentally a balance
Do you want to kill fast but inefficiently
or
slowly but efficiently
With OOC and modern FT levels, you'd prolly be damn near as efficient over time to just burn mobs using your highest DPS dots until OOM, then afking 3 mins of OOC.
That's what i do mostly.

Then why do I have all of these dots? Just for maybe different resists??? Seems kinda silly to have sooooo many dots....

You have them so that you can achieve both efficiency and dps, but not necessarily at the same time.
Also, you are correct in that the dots are on 4 different resist types, so that you can still do damage in a variety of situations.
You have long duration dots for efficiency, you have short duration dots for dps. Part of being a necromancer is adjusting your setup to best suit your combat environment.
Be glad we have such versitility in that regard.

Try this:
Darkness
Disease (used mainly as a timer for recasting Darkness)
then
Your best long duration fire/poison dots
then
your best short duration fire/poison/magic dots
When your disease dot wears off, recast Darkness and go down the line again until mob is dead.
This is just a rough guide but it works for me.

I usually go with something like:
Darkness
Poison
Fire
Fire
disease
magic
magic
Once the poison 2 fires and 1st magic have worn off I usually recast darkness. And if I havent gotten a new darkness on by the time the disease has worn off I know its either time to bust my butt to get a new one on or time to hit the FD key. But I am probably way off as to how to dot something. Mine is to burn them down quick.. but in no way efficiently.

I like to think of myself as an efficient kiter (slow and steady) so mine goes:
Darkness
Severan's Rot
Vakkdra's Sickly mists
Kedgefish Venom
Pyre of the Fallen
Pyre of Mori
At any point in there (with the added spell slot this is nice) I'll throw either Ashengate Pyre or Dread Pyre at the mob as well based on GoM/GoRM/GoERM procs. Refresh as needed but know that with this lineup, you have a few ticks from the time disease wears off till snare wears off. I never recast disease while kiting as mobs typically die before snare wears off a second time. I also leave the magic dots in the spell book since they seem to be more mana inefficient.
But that lineup and desciption is the way I kite ... ymmv
*Edit - once I start getting the new dots I'll replace the lowest dps dot with the latests and greatest. I do keep a Magic DoT loaded just in case of a string of Go*M procs.

Similar to Todwelt, I use:
Coruscating Darkness
Severan's Rot (insert your long disease dot here)
Corath Venom
Vakk'dra's Sickly Mists
Kedgefish Venom
Pyre of the Fallen
Pyre of Mori
Then cast Ashengate Pyre and/or Dread Pyre on GoM/GoRM procs or if I'm in a hurry. I don't use the magic dots much due to resist rates.
If I am kiting multiples or in a mana crunch, I'll go with mainly snare, disease, pyre, pyre, kedge, keeping them refreshed.

4 minute kites @ high efficiency & low dps forcing OOC every 10th kill: 4.3minute kill cycle -or- 14 kills per hour.
2.2 minute kites @ medium efficiency & med-high dps forcing OOC every 4th kill: 2.95minute kill cycle -or- 20 kills per hour
1.5 minute kites @ no efficiency & max dps forcing OOC every 3rd kill: 2.5minute cycle -or- 24 kills per hour
That make sense? Certainly these numbers are made up, but the principle is valid. In SoF I think it now impossible to avoid OOC eventually, no matter how conservative you are.

Level 77, Max DoT AAs for my level. I don't have spell mission spells so this is the best I got:
Corsucating Darkness
Eranon's Decay
Pyre of Mori
Pyre of the Fallen
Ashengate Pyre
Kedgefish Venom
Vakk'Dra's Sticky Mists
I always burn mobs down with repeated Ashengate casts. With OOC regen and especially the new Meditation skill cap, I don't have time to /afk and do chores while medding anymore.
I managed to solo a few mobs in The Steam Factory and S.H.I.P Workshop yesterday. I root rotted and it took almost 5 cycles of my spell lineup to take down a non-caster mob.
In comparison, I can root rot a spider in Icefall in 1.5 cycles.
It is funny that all old world raid mobs were built on the 32,000 HP model.

From what I am seeing already ... I would agree vehemently with that statement. Unless of course you want to have 5 minute+ kites. No thanks.

I was soloing the boneguard golems in HoS last night. First time really doing much solo kiting in SoF. I also briefly joined a kite group in Loping Plains.
In both cases, I expended nearly double the mana it would take to kill solo exp mobs in TBS and TSS.
My personal opinion is that spell drops and faction are the only reasons to solo in SoF. I have not compared regular exp between DB's and whites in TBS and TSS to the yellows and reds in SoF, but unless the exp is consistently double that of the TBS/TSS mob (which from what I've seen, it isn't), I see no point in trying to exp here for more than spell drops and faction.
