duoing necros

Welll I solo alot so I guess I never though about it but how would you duo with necros? I don't recall if the same dots stack or anything. just a noob question but I'd still like to know. =)

One way would be simply to split duties: one person does the pulling, one person does the slowing, one person handles mezzing, etc etc. It might depend on where and what you will be hunting.

And don't worry about noob flames, this board has been pretty good about keeping that crap down. :D

I personally see 2 options with duoing necros. One would be to do "solo grouping" where you both pull, DoT, fear, ect. seperately but share experience. You would kill twice as fast, with 60% of the experience per kill (resulting in a gain of 20% per two mob, killed simultainiously over soloing)

The other option would be st tackle the same mob and only use half of your normal dot spread, and alternate of the other spells. This has the advantage of reduceing downtime greatly, but with an uncertain gain in experience over soloing, and would be superior if you could kill more than twice the mobs over time(comming from the reduced downtime, not a higher kill rate)

I recently have been dou'ing with another necro in PoS killing the lorok frogs and let me tell you what its much better than killing them solo... Dot's do stack btw

Also on a side note I was with said necro and we decided to let others into the group... we ended up having 3 necros a mage and a BL. They ranged from 55 - 63.... It was one of the best groups I've ever had... It was cool kiting a frog and looking back and seeing 3 spectres a warder and a mage pet going to town on the back of a froggie... I got half of a level (62 or 63 can't remember) in about 4 hours doing this... I highly recommend setting up a kite group!

Yeah Ren was a geat grp) can burn those frogs down fast few didnt even recast snare on. Just make sure the old nast beast lords wait on sending pets had his pets eaten like 3 times dirty agro procers). Normaly wait till like 90% or so and you are good CoC or lvl 4 fear help as well.

PoV Outer Caves/caverns..........2 Necros can own this "camp" becuase there are never-ending mobs.
Now, add a few more pet classes and 2 Necros(or ay pullers) can pull the entire cave area. Kill A Lumbering Beast (http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/search.shtml?id=10688), Kill A Razorfiend Subduer (http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/search.shtml?id=10685), and then kill An Ancient Guardian (would link it, but it had the wrong photo anyhow).

This is constant action and is loads of fun to watch. The Exp here is also some of the best in the game for the level it takes to kite here. Very easy and Very safe especially if you have Dr00d, Shammy there in your group. Ranja will also make a good addition.

If your snare doesn't stick, and there are no adds, just get other members to snare then reclaim aggro for the kite.
