Does anyone know where I can find a base guide for most items that are frequently sold in the Bazaar? I wanna check prices and stuff.

i'd suggest allakhazam's to get a ballpark figure or general idea. unfortunately, you have to search each individual item there, unless you subscribe and get the more advanced search functions. also, many prices aren't exactly up-to-date, but it's about the only place of it's kind that i found that offers something reasonable.

overall, prices can vary server to server, so maybe the best thing to do is to monitor the bazaar yourself for a week or two to see what people tend to sell stuff for.


that might be a good thread to start up in the gear section of this board--people can just post about what they paid for a droppable item or people could ask about specific items.

allakazam has some absurd prices though it told me something was worth 5k and everyone was selling it for 500pp :huh:

Yes, i would take the prices on allakhazams with a grain of salt--i just look there to get a general idea and then check the prices on my server day to day, and then compare with what i'm willing to spend with my budget. you have to be a subscriber to post prices, so it would be harder for someone to post a "fake" price, but still the opportunity is there for misinformation. however, i haven't found anything elsewhere that resembles a price database besides that one.

heh, guides will only help u if u play on that particular guides server, even then, prices fluctuate so much it probably wont be accurate. Of course there are items that are always gonna be expensive, and items that will be expensive, then go up or drop suddenly coz of a "nerf" or rarity of drops increase/decrease.
best bet for you is to spend a lot of time there, and you ll eventually know what stuff generally runs for "price ranges" n such, and after a lil time, you will know whether or not you're gettin a good deal.. IE: Your server has Soulscream belts going for 25 k all day long, everyday of the week, and you see someone /auction for 18k, well, buy it for 18 k and sell it for bla bla bla for your profit margin.. To be able to do this method,
1) you should have a decent sized bankroll

2) you have to know accurate pc's,

If you know the bazaar, you know that a lot of pc's change bi-weekly and sometimes daily, and you just have to be up to date on things, keep up with the nerfs, as they happen pretty frequently, IE: copper hammer of striking recently was nerfed so it procs only to lvl 50 toons, therefore the priced dropped to 7-9 k on TM instead of 10-14k, coz now twinking the low lvl alts has become more difficult and the hammer is no longer as useful to those peeps as it is to higher lvl peeps. No guide is going to help you with fluctuation, if you really wanna "baz ho", spend all yer time there and you ll be better informed. Funny how different times of the day/night how prices change too.. From my experience, I've noticed pretty good /auction deals from people late at night (usually coz they need something and need it NOW and wts cheaper to get it) but /bazaar to be higher at that time, and /bazaar to be lower during the day.. Best thing to do is to go to bazaar and sit and look for your self. Also keep up auction channel so you can check. Been buying rings of lightning for like 20k reselling for 35k might ake a week but nice ring to wear while exping. Also, you can buy ornate gear since many grps are killing in bot and then gr decides to sell the armor and split cash so pay off fast is nicxe for them. Alsi nice to keep about 50k+ pp in case someone is selling a couple items say hey I will pay 75% of total or maybe as low as 65%. Bought Ornate leather boots 14k on server Bloodmetal earing 20k and ornate silk sleeves normally not even for sale maybe 40k+ all paid for what 45k. Was awsome deal resold boots ear and ended up like paying 12k for sleeves=). Those are my methods so hope they help laters.
