Greetings, I am a new necromancer and have to say this is the most fun I have had with this game. It took me a long time before I figured how to actually kill gaurds without getting hit at my level 26.

I camped the main room where they have the 2 gaurds in the front and the lisa the bard and lucky the begger.

I camped right where lucky spawns. passing gaurds ignore me if I am hurt making this a great spot. Even thought Lucky attacks mey my pet finishes him off in less then 3 seconds. Go haunting corpse.

What I did was pulled one of the gaurds and did this in this order.


1. clinging darkness to slow em.
2. send pet
3. fear him (if resisted proceded to 4)
4. DOT madness. lay rip on every dot ya got . by this time your pet has taken quite a beating.
5. fear him and continue casting it till it works.
6. back off pet.
7. let the gaurd get away and it will take him bout 30 seconds to come flying back.. meanwhile he is still taking lotta dmage per turn
8. NOW send pet after him when fear runs off and nuke him like crazy. or fear again =)

The end.

Reason I wrote this prob piece of info was geared towards newer necros who rely on groups in hkk. we really dont need it. You can level faster by yourself. You may die a few times practicing this but if all else fails. harmshield yourself and zone. thats the joy of this area. you can zone to save your but and med for a bit.

great tip,

will try this out asap as i am lvl 26 too.

left hhk because i never got a group and getting bored of unrest now.


is your nec twinked much ? I am not, so i hope i will be able to camp there too.

Hope you are not on the stromm server, would hate to see the camp already taken ;)

My necro is my main so I buy him the best I can.. however.... I am a master merchant and usually never have plat problems. =P

Only problem with this stragety I found out so far is the occasion wandering gaurd comes in as an add which means zone or the other one of your gaurd gets feared and runs toooooooooo far away then gets adds from pet.

just gotta hit hard and fast with nukes if he gets feared.
