Hi all,
I am level 61 with maybe 60aa so far (very few class AAs though). I have mediocre equipment, but I do have the Enchanted Harpy Blade, making my Legacy of Zek 61 pet con yellow to me. I'm going to stay at this level to grind AAs for a while, for maybe 30 AAs or so. What camp do you recommend?
The hotzones on Test for this level range are Riwwi and Bastion of Thunder, neither of which seems really feasible. I've heard about Veksar but don't know the zone or the camps, and my pet still doesn't seem like much of a tank.
Where do you recommend?
Thanks a ton,
Zalkot

At 61 with the focused pet you should be able to own Plane of Valor razorfiend cave or the golems at ew/ww camps. If memory serves, it's pretty dang good exp up to 67.

The golems sounds interesting, never heard of that - what are the EW/WW camps? How do I get to them / pull from them?
And aggro kiting is not bad in the razorfiend caves, although the pet doesn't stand a chance against them straight up, let alone "owns" them, from my experience, focused or not.

on sol ro we called them ECY and WCY. from the zone in, head east along the south wall until you reach the water, then head north until you reach the end of the peninsula, and head west to the doorway in the center of the building thing there. go up the stairs and the twisty ramp and come out the doors on the other side. hug the building wall and go either left (WW/WCY) or right (EW/ECY). set up shop along the wall and pull the golems in the surrounding area, kiting along the wall. watch out for spiders - theyre hard to see and some are unsnareable. you will probably need to do some FD splitting of the golem spawns, unless youre able and comfortable kiting 3 of them at once (probably not recommended at 61, but definitely doable)
there is a merchant inside the building, so dont be shy about looting the stuff. some of it sells for 100-200pp to the vendor, and you might still be able to sell metallic liquid in bazaar.

Recommend you get 62 in PoV then go to HoH. You can grind AAs at 62 if you want but my advice would be get 65 then do it. You'll be infinitely more powerful and the aaxp in HoH at 65 is killer.

What is it that makes 65 in HoH better than 62 for instance, out of curiosity? Wouldn't it be less xp per kill with me using similar dots, given that AAxp per kill is supposedly based on what the mob cons to you?
Thanks,

I think HoH mobs are slightly higher level.
Basement area mobs have a chance at dropping parchments too.
Overall at 65 you're fighting PoP era mobs with (hopefully) PoP era spells, in particular the rogue pet at 65, lich at 64, BoThule dot at 64 and so forth.
I did quite a few AAs at 65 in HoH, generally always a 2 pull and easy to get to if you're doing entrance.
So unless you really like PoV theres not much reason to stick at 61 to do AAs.

The jump in power you experience going from 62 to 65 through new lich, new pet, and PoP dots more than makes up for any minimal exp loss (if any) you will see.
I say do 69.1's as soon as you can. 65 might be soonest but the XP is so worth it.

I moved into Vxed at 61/62. The mobs there are always 64, 65, or 66 in level, and while they hit very hard for that level, it does teach one a certain amount of caution when kiting hehe.
The advantage at the time was that Vxed, being a soloable instance (don't even need a group to get it) there was zero competition, and no one to complain when training the zone line because darkness isn't sticking.
The disadvantage is that its something of a run to get at ...
Just be sure, no matter where you go, that you get the runspeed 4 and 5 AA's soonest.
