Dropped by the kite room for a quick look in Tactics this weekend and found another necromancer there. It would appear they have raised the bar there a bit. We grouped together and for a few hours had snares resisted time after time. Some of the guards resisted 5 or 6 times before it took. Had we not doubled up and one of us try to snare while the other ran, it would have indeed been tough. Anyone else find this to be true ? I have been there enough times to know that it was never this difficult before.....

Bad luck maybe? I haven't noticed a change.

Jeb, thanks, that's good to hear, I hope you are right.....but I have to say, if it was bad luck, it was awfully bad. I'll have to go back and try again. Thanks :)

I've had 2-4 resists on mobs there to, but it's much more rare at 65 then what my friends experience at 63-64, those extra 2 levels could really help out, and if you don't have embracing darkness...your fighting a much tougher battle.

actually ive figured out whats happened here. I am sure you all remember that VERY vague patch that said something like "we will be fixing a couple bugs before they come a widespread issue" well I was getting resisted A LOT in dulak a couple days ago and I took a general consensus. everybody that I asked was experiencing more resists then usual, I myself was getting resisted 4-5 times. Anyway apparantly they were trying a new resist system (thats just a theory though) and it didn't work. and the patch was probably so vague because they didn't want to mention what people thought was bad luck was a screw up on their part :) . Anyway this is just musing but if you are having trouble now then it probably IS bad luck

Actually I think the patch had something to do with Pet Haste issues. I noticed the patch before that had a huge difference in the amount of DPS the pets put out. It was like 75% of their normal DPS, and while soloing that's huge, glad to see they fixed that right away, now if only they'd fix the Poofing bug.

I am hoping that the mob poofing may be fixed once they release the new graphics engine. I think I read something about it is supposed to help with pathing in the game. I think I also heard that this whole poof thing is the result of some issue with the pathing. Maybe that is why it has not really been addressed yet since it will be with the new engine?
