Ive found a few in loping plains, where I can chain pull, but I usually run out of mobs during a lesson burn, or else a named spawns.

Anyone have some good steady solid camps like Atiki was in TBS? I need to find somewhere to grind 600 aa :P

the alligators have like a 5-10minute respawn and they are so slow its insane.

i like the northeast pit in fort mech where the raid entrance is, or, if thats taken, any of the open areas aside from the giant landing pad. tried beza, zeka, crystallos (when it was kiteable), bloodmoon missions, and i still prefer fort mech.

I kite the graveyard in loping plains close to HoS a pretty good bit. There are a lot of mobs, you just have to watch out for the cleric ones which suck. I also kite the top level of Fort Mech. close to MMM entrance until the named showns up

in loping plains theres an orc camp up in the top right corner of your map. takes little splitting and so far no names spawn there to interupt the kite process

oh crystallos is not kiteable now? or just make the wyvern summon?
Actually I'm still working on Crystallos' access quest, so I'd never been crystallose, now most mob in crystallos summon?

The caster mobs are just as easy as the rest. Load up the dots and use the terain so the mob does not have LoS and they don't cast.

factioning +exping=win!

yes, faction is a bit ...odd this time around.

I spent a good 3+ months off/on kiting LP to max fang breakers. /shrug it was ok, yellow con mobs for me at 75-77 and a few hundred AAs.

Over by the vamp cave, on other side of the hill, there's a spot that curves back a bit. I'd pull my mobs form across the road or sometime they path through (orcs, not wolves.) Not the gully area, other side of the hill. Behind there near where you hail the guy for fang breakers faction, there's orcs that path. Kill a few pathers there periodically and get a nice surprise for a shammie ( I had 3 rk II puma spellsdrop there over several months)

In the festival area, there's a LoL quest, 2 ground drops, 2 yellow (to level 76/77) mobs to kill for faction. 6 drops on the corpse, about 5-6 min wait on ground spawn - fast factioing. I was re-using the body before it poofed. killing undead aroudn the area and the occassional vamp ( behind the vamp cave a single spawns for the LP necklace quest, about 1 in 6 drop I saw.)

I cannot kill the undead clerics in LP. They drain my mana. I FD and let them forget about me. undead warriors are sweet exp. I was getting between 5-6 AAs solo there in a play session with lesson. But that was before my major AAs really increase my dps and I got my 2.0. Big difference.

I've moved into DSH and did ok there - warmly to LoL and amiable to Ak'knon.

Fairies ( nymphs, yeah ..ok...whatever...) are fun to kill. I stopped bothering to split and just killed 2 and rarely 3 at a time. I use pet heal AAs pretty much or just have pet FD, I get hit, have pet take agro whiel I tap and then FD myself.

Our spell there from LoL is so-so. maybe help out in a group or something, but nothing major. I played around with the lower DON version a few weeks ago, as I just finally bothered to get it. farming COA I used it a few times. I destryoed an extra box I had for loots and kept heal pots and the orbs both handy. I never bother with a bandolier, too complicated for me :p

DSH has a bunch of camp hogging weirdos though like sitting up wayyyyyy on a hill 1 city block in game from the camp. hello??? is snookems scared of the mobs or what?

DSH is hella funny being 'kicked' by robo. It looks like a cast and your feet are rapidly moving ... no where in the air. I was surprised I survived! so, invis near robo or be kicked.

I gotta try fort, maybe in next 2 week

Actually, as much as I hated it, I find myself going back to hills of shade lately. There seems to be a pretty decent ZEM there or they just die faster. I usually kite the graveyard, splitting required, which can be a PITA since they stun. I wouldn't recommend multiples unless you can take a hit or two.

Of course, you can always do the bone golem and scarecrow camp near the Bertoxx camp, combined with the Bigger, Stronger, Dumber task from the camp it's actually pretty good xp.
One last thing is you can kite the crows/aviaks near the valor camp. I usually pull them out to a flat spot between the valor camp and the beach where they die. If you are a tad adventurous you can even pull the Bladesour named aviak out, whose drop starts a quest that can give either Bertoxx or Valor faction. It's an interesting split though, and takes some luck. He's also root rotable in the back of that area...

Another spot I like is S.H.I.P. Workshop. I kite the back end of the zone; there's a huge flat area back there. You can lev up the sides (screw the ladders), and pull the mobs down there to kite. I've not seen anything that summons back there yet and best of all they can drop TS materials (porous loams, etc) rarely.

Just Dinged 74 and the TBS Greenhouse Snakes just lost it's Red-CON appeal. It'd like to try something in SoF but my one time in the wide area near the Mech Fort elevators left me with a black eye and corpse run. I tried the mechano-spiders in DSH but the ground's too wavy which breaks my LoS and they're too HP heavy.

Am I looking in the wrong places or not powerful enough? My saving grace is I'm up to date with my AAs (approx 350) and about 9k mana.

Thanks in advance,
Osgoode

Icefall wolves/bears should still be good till 75 then move to HoS

you could do spiders in icefall until 80 easily but it won't get you much (other than lots of trader/vendor loot)

i'd highly recommend that you spend 74-80 doing faction stuff in SoF. Its a pain so you might as well get it done now.

Solithan. If he's concerned about LoS issues then HoS is going to make FM look like Nebraska.

Hey now, NE has hills... somewhere...

I agree though, there is too much faction to procrastinate. There are guides on SoF faction that is soloable somewhere around here.

Also, you should get used to hilly kiting as you won't always have the great plains to kite in. You just need to be aware of where you are and where your target is. Just make sure you are on a crest when you cast and that there isn't a hill b/w you and your mob. Once you get used to it it isn't that bad.

The HoS Bertox faction camp should be good at your lvl, just be aware of the stun from the feral frighteners (keep good distance and be sure to sit). I am 80 with just shy of 500 aas atm and I seem to get somewhere in the 18-20% of an aa per kill with the new system and another 15-16% for each completed task. Makes for an easy 5+ per lotd =)

Bertoxx camp in HoS is awesome, until a SoS scout backstabs you... or 5 do like they did to me the other day.

level 79 , 1108 AAs, 12k mana, 10.5k hp. Dead in seconds.

Icefall lags almost as frequently as Loping Plains so I don't pull there unless I must. I've got enough Ak'Anon Strike Force faction to buy some spells (if there's more than one per class) so I can try hanging out there and try for Fangbreaker. I'll look up the rest and see what I can do.

I've always had a hard time kiting in dippy terrain but if I have to then I have to.

Spent a night with a Dragnol Goblin group in Loping Plains (I know, I know...but there was no lag where we were) and I'm trying out the camp solo when I have a chance. It's the first Goblin camp down that narrow canyon past some bears and frogs.

Spend another night there with an evolving item activated and you'll be back. Best item xp in the game that I've found.

I like the Worg camp in Loping, I know its laggy..... But solo you usually dont have to split. And can kite 2 at a Time. Plus the Task from the Npc towards the boat, Just say "worg" its a 20 kill task. Its not bad Exp and faction to boot!

The back of Ship was a nice spot TY for the post, havnt sen any trade drops yet though =(

Where are the Alligators, I havn't seen a one in SoF

LP at zone in hug left and go to water area. They are on the beach. Frogs spawn there and bears path through.

I just noticed this. Red con is not always the 'best' exp. Experience is capped.

Can't seem to pull one without the other even after FDing and having one reset at spawnpoint. Sunday was a vary bad day for Osgoode with three deaths.

Osgoode-
They all run fast, very fast, and it is a pain to deal with - but it's a sweet camp. I'd say once broken it becomes more managable but I won't; respawns will happen while you refresh the two slay 20 tasks and dork all your spawn prep work. I started off using the rogue pet here but eventually went to the warrior pet to buy more time on adds and/or snare resists. I gave up trying to keep the war boosted with mage toys because even that didn't prevent the pet from dying alot. Pet DPS here is not a concern.

The basic strat is to start off at maximum spell range. Target mob closest to you and darkness, immediately fd. Once other mob paths to spawn, target it and stand to darkness. Send pet in it needed, sacrifice it. As long as you have a pet up you can buy yourself a good 2 casts of darkness. Of course, this only is effective if you have /pet hold.

I died every few hours here myself; mostly due to the zonewide lag stutter that I cannot seem to rectify but have never experienced in any other zone. Or sometimes you just get unlucky on adds and failed feigns or even the occasional warp. Or a named gets a couple lucky rounds off. I used a metric ton of potions of health & celestial healing here - and used the nearby animals to keep lifeshards in stock as well.

I assume you are talking about the goblin camp/fort just north of the fangbreaker camp in loping plains. I spent a lot of time when SoF launched doing the one strike force quest (killed 10 gobbies then the named) and the kill 20 goblin tasks.

There is a pit in the NE area of the fort. I root rotted the goblins around the pit and the ones to the west of the pit. Never used a pet till I needed to kill the named. When I pulled the named, I would set up outside the gate with my pet. Invis and then open the gate. Back up to max cast range and snare the named. It would come running out the gate and of course bring the two adds. But using good ole FD and snare, was able to get the named solo every time. Then was able to kite as normal East to west in front of the gate outside the agro range of the two goblin guards. Always on the lookout for frogs, bears, and zombies that might add to my kite.

Think I only ever had one death at this camp in the many many many times I did those quests.

There is another named gobbie that spawns near the entrance of the fort. It's not for a quest. I accidentally pulled him and FDed outside. There were a couple of frogs who immediately set upon him and killed him. Just letting people know in case they want his loot.

A camp I haven't seen mentioned yet is the Mystwind Camp in LP. Large kiting area, little competition if any and you can do Ladies of the Light faction there if you want or just for the extra xp. The Festival of Nightmares task can be completed three times in 20 min. while kiting other mobs since we can pick up the ground spawns while in IVU and single pull the remains.

^ I've done the LoL - festival, nice stuff. 6 drops on 1 corpse, so if solo you can almost always get 4-5 quests done on 1 kill before the corpse rots.

There's a vampire to the right if facing the lake near the wall/hill. So, if you kite that way, expect an add.

I did that quest until dubious then moved onto brownies for LoL.
