Hunting grounds for 61+

Hello all,

I very much appreciate your posts to my last topic for hunting greounds. The gargs in PON were excellent upto my current level of 61 and are still worth 4-5 blue ticks of aa xp. The chief benefit to them are they are almost never camped (at least on Druzzil ro).
I have only seen other necro's there; so it may be becasue it is difficult to get there without aggroing half the zone on you.
At any rate, I am considering where to hunt next, I have tried the POS frogs (loraks) in their caves, and I find they are camped too much to get steady xp. If anyone can recommend a better hunting ground please do.

I am also nearing the 400 ldon point level and I am in a quandry over what to get from BB camp. Really thinking about Horror or the BA IV aug (both of which are like 1400 pts;-(). I have good gear and all spells for my level including Pyre.

In addition, I would like any info you have on cash camps....thanks.

Someone mentioned somewhere else may have been eqclasses necro not that I go there or nothing. But the PoV golems are nice on the back wall can solo them as long as you have sow potions they run a bit fast for jboots. Also, they drop the liquid for the valor rings so can sell or make your own. The claws sell pretty cheap or can solo them as well i believe. Off my head dont remember where the metal is might be from the fungoids too (claws drop). Might help your cash flow a bit and exp is nice till 62 then go to HOH with some friends and clean mith mars kind from norrath. Alternatively Drunder arena is nice but it is not for the faint of heart death is given there. But, there are some nice nameds not too hard with a charmed pet the flying things can be charmed forget names. Use to hunt down there with a druid friend he would charm pigs I would slow mobs not too hard till charm breaks and you get mauled. Hope that all helps have a good one.

I solo the PoS typhoon and hurricane frogs, but they're not in any cave. These are all the way north and easy to get to.

I am liking the 7% aa at lvl 61 :D
I also duo them with a 56 druid buddy of mine - it's cake and still 5% aa.

on the ldon camp issue there is only a couple items I would EVER want from those places: first is the 750 aug in Nro which has the effect summoners bane, it increases your pets statistics and is very nice when first summoning, also there is a 1450 aug in MMC (butcherblock) that increases the length of your affliction based spells (its called extended torment IV or something like that) that works up to level 65. Finally I would get a VERY cheap regen 1 aug for some crap slot in your equipment, it costs something like 40-50 in MMC: just a nice extra 1 regen per tick that you can throw away when necessary. Other then that I plan to steer clear of LDoNs just aren't worth the exp, AA or not.

Also I don't know about any BA IV items except for that one, but there is a relatively easy BA III item you can get (coldain military bracelet) which should take you can hour at the most (there is a great guide in the quests section). Of course this won't work for your 61+ dots but when farming these can be very useful... and until you DO get that BAIV item this will come in handy more often then not.

Thanks for the input. My normal hunting grounds are the frogs (apparently the wrong ones;-() then gargs for aa xp. I have also been going after some stupid ass aa's which I have stopped. Now I am only going for SCM. Then I will level immidieately. Sometimes I get soft in the head (its all about leveling).

I will be able to AA faster when I can combine BOT and PYRE with Horroor I will be the man until then I am still holding Jababoers hat.
thanks for all the advice and the LDON stuff is right on. I am having a tough time getting groups just to get horror! is that spell no drop? I will just buy it from someone.

Surpirsed no one mentioned kiting in HOH. Once you hit 62 go in the morning or when not to many people in there and kite away in the gy. You will have to break up some mobs but they are easily broken. Great exp there about 1% a kill at 63 and they don't take to long to kill nor is there much downtime, I can do it with maybe 30 sec downtime:)
