Well the time finally arrived when I noticed I had a few saved aa and nothing desired to purchase. Scanning through class, Dead Mez caught my eye. Yeah, lol. I figured hey, Nodyin made this one; it has got to have some purpose. The description certainly is vague enough. So I bought it, figured I'd go find some zone where this would be a handy tool & yield some benefit for the purchase. I mean, with a casting time of 3.0 seconds combined with a reuse timer of 1hr 12minutes it ought to be mad usable & effective. Right?

This aa is 100% lame. Ive yet to have this land on anything. I wouldnt be surprised if all undead were accidently set to immune.

We still do FC so I bought this for the mez events when chanters are low.

Its disappointment that this line was even extended. Its a HUGE disappointment that its completely gimped with that ridiculous recast time..

Every necro in beta was against it, yet they still ignored all the feedback and made this pos aa. No idea why really.

I mean 35 radius, very low level ae mezz with 2 hour reuse and -10 mr check. WTF on earth can you use that? Org DM is lvl 55 max no idea about upgraded one. I'll but it as the last thing before being maxed (same as rank 1) :P

I liken it to cars salesmen. When you go to buy a car, the salesman is gonna tell you all sorts of crap about the car that you don't care about, don't understand, and will most likely never use. Stuff that you might stumble upon somewhere down the road and say aloud, "WTF is this for?" A car salesman has to make an ordinary car look like an Italian Chariot to help the buyer get over his/her hesitation of putting his/herself in debt for the next 5 years. It's called "Fluff." College professors really don't care for it when you include it in a paper.

The Devs, no matter how stupid/useless an AA or spell may be, have to justify to the EQ gamers reasons to buy the next expansion. It says on the box "Includes X amount of new spells and AAs!" But there's no fine print to tell you which of those spells/AA will be less than useless. But that doesn't matter. The point is jacking up that number of spells/AA to make everyone all starry-eyed at the idea of all these new spells and abilities. And the Devs don't care. You've bought the expansion. Sony is happy. And that's the bottom line. Why would Devs bother with trying to make a "fluff" AA useful when they and everyone else know it's only fluff. They figure it's better to invest their time in the stuff that's supposed to be "real" but ain't workin right, and ignore the fluff and all the "WTF is this" from the players about things that were never more than a mechanic used to increase overall numbers.

I promise I'm not as cynical as this sounds.
