/camp without Persistent Minion AA

I'm about to spend 8 AA to get the suspended minions, in the hopes that even without persistent minion, I would be able to /camp and return to the game with the suspended pet later without having to get back to PoK and shroud.

However, from what I read this might actually not be possible without Persistent Minion. Is persistent minion required for that, or do I get to keep the pet if I just dont zone (even through /camp)?

This will no do what you hope. You need persistant if you wish to camp.

Suspended 1 lets you pocket a pet.
Suspended 2 lets the pocket pet retain buffs, weapons, armor.
Persistant Minion lets you camp or zone without the pocket pet.


I believe shrouding also works to save the pocket pet.

Thats what I feared too. Oh well, have to keep shrouding for three more levels, then - it would have been a significant help to my play-style if I could have camped next to my experience area, as I play so short stretches running to and gating back for the day takes easily an eighth off my active griding time.
