I currently play a 58th level Warrior on the Maelin server, moved over from Druzzil, and have never played a caster before. I'd like to start a Necromancer but am really at a loss on how to begin.
It would be helpful for potential upcoming necro's to be able to read a forum that concentrated on the items we need help with:
1) How should we distribute our stats when creating? All int, all sta?
2) Should we want to twink, say with 5 to 10k plat, what items would be best?
3) For those used to Freeport and Qeynos and not accustomed to the maze that Neriak is, where can we go for low-level mobs? (I know, nit-picky, but that zone confuses the hell out of me!)
4) What spells should we get first and where?
5) What do we need to consider first; i.e. KOS in most cities, etc.?
6) What is a good arrangement of memmed spells and hot key assignments?
The current forums are great and I've spent the last few hours reading over them, but except for the newbie quest threads (which are great, I will be doing them tonight!), most were for people with experience as necro's or at least casters, of which I have neither.
