Help with avatars

I have an avatar I wanna load up but it won't let me. It's a 50x50 so it should work. Also it's a .jgp file. I have tried resizing it and stuff but it still won't work. Any suggestions?

Yeah, make a Geocities account, post the avatar on a page, then link the avatar... It worked for me.
