Hello everyone. I've searched here for a camp that used to be fairly well known. There is a spawn of treants in south karana in the SW corner of the zone. it is a double spawn on a 3 minute timer. The Treants are druids, but they are very low HP wise. Screaming terror when you break. Then you toss a fear on the other, letting pet attack<who may, or may not be hasted, doesn't matter too much> Darkness after the fear, and the treant will die. After its broken, just keep allure up, and toss a vamp curse as needed to keep your HP up. going from 29-34 you can make some excellent cash. Its also very doable for the untwinked necromancer. Just keep FD up incase you get a bunch of resists. And remember... yell timber to let people know the trees are going down hehe. Have fun and enjoy the spot=)

Back in the day this was a highly contested camp. They drop a staff of some kind that sells VERY well at the Centaurs.

Also, there is a wandering knight (forgot his name) who will toast you pretty fast if he happens to come upon you.

Definitely a good place to level though and kinda fun beating those creaking toothpicks.

Actually, isn't that spawn is in the northeast corner of south karana, not the southwest corner? NW corner is the only static treant spawn in SK that I'm aware of. Other treants are roamers, including the named Grizzleknot.

I never hunted treants on any of my chars, but it was a fun place to PK the dark team with my druid on a team-PvP server. Only problem was that the victims were always carrying a ton of silver and copper pieces, because that's what the treants drop.

It must be good xp and decent loot, because they'd maintain a waiting list for the spot. After killing the group xp'ing there, we'd announce that the treant spawn was ready for the next group on the list, before running out of the zone with our ill-gotten lewtz.

Yes, yes it is in the north east. Stupid directions... always trying to confuse me . Anyhow if you pull from the hill near that is right beside the river, the wandering treant and the knight will leave you to slaughter these excellent cash machines at your leisure.
