Ding 279-300 in research. I finally sat down to use all the cleaned parchments I had sitting around (not sure what I am going to do with all my uncleaned and solutions for all them yet). It felt dirty to use the binding powder methods, after spending literally months of collecting and doing subcombines (only to have all the mats sit on an alt for 2 years) so I decided to make the push with spell combines.
I picked 5 63 spells, 5 64 spells, 6 65 spells to make.
21 skill ups, took 379 combines - a couple runs of 40 or so combines before a skill up were offset by the *ping* combine combine *ping*.
And to actually add value to thread as well. After dinging 300, with my fresh 6/7 trophy it seemed to auto ding 6 - didn't think that would happen - when I made 300.
With 119 further combines it evolved to 29% through lvl 6. So looks to be on track to about 400 combines to ding lvl 7.
Surprisingly, I was able to sell a number of spells last night when I was pretty much expecting none of the 63-65 spells to be in high demand. And it put a smile on my face to see that the biggest sellers for the night at 4 each were horror and night fire :)
