Kunark Spell Locations

My 51 needs alot of spells that drop in Kunark, does anyone know what mobs in what zones drop these spells? Augmentation of Death, Shadow bond, Minion of Shadows to name a few. Thanx for any help.

Augmentation of Death (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/spell.html?spell=1414) tends to be Velk's and ToV.

Shadowbond (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/spell.html?spell=1717) dropped for me in Skyfire, as did Minion of Shadows. (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/spell.html?spell=1621)

Old Sebilis has a cornucopia of dropped 50+ spells. At your level the XP would be rather good too. Grouping might be more productive than solo, and do remember to snare EVERYTHING.

Hunt Skyfire for mid 50's spells also. I know you can get Minion of Shadows off either a Mature or Elder Wurm. The Guardian Wurms drop Funeral Pyre and Demi Lich though you're not gonna be able to solo those. You will find though that most of the non common mobs will potentialy drop a 50-57'ish or so spell. (Non-common meaning the 'elder'/'mature' variety.

There is a island south of the VP zone(island becuase the streams of lava seperate around this area making it look like a island between lava flows.) If you find this area it is a perfect spot to fear kite pretty much anything in the zone you can get back there.

Oh, and I think someone mentioned something about snaring everything...

Something I've noticed about Skyfire - these critters have a pretty small agro radius. Even when you've ticked them off, they can forget you if you run too far away.

More than once, I've tried fear kiting only to have the mob not come back. Oh, they pass along agro just fine. Too fine, in fact. Losing one means you'll have autopull on the rest of your time there, every time a critter wanders near.

With my luck, it's always chromodracs.

Not sure if this is posted anywhere else on the boards but...........u can get Minion of Shadows, Shadowbond, Scent of Terris and Sacrifice via a tasty little quest with a NPC in OT.

Not only do u get your spells, but u can make a tidy profit selling the others (dont flood the market by overkill though!) especially anyone on Venril :P

LOL, yes. When I was slaughtering them recently with a guild cleric looking for epic drops, I made the mistake of pulling a Wyvern with Darkness and had to keep running back in order to make it keep following me to the camp rather than head back to its spawn point :).

my 44 necro is in need of corpeal empathy, and incinerate bones. I have checked and always check the bazaar for the spells first. But where do they drop? What do they drop off of? And can a 44 necro do it alone or will I need group or even possibly guild help for these. Lastly and most important should I even worry about these spells.

I believe the Inciderate bones is a vendor bought spell, the other is dropped in Great Divide and Waking Lands (velious zones), The inciderate bones you should be able to buy in Thurgadin.

I got a ton of my spells around that level in BW, can't remember exactly when I was there, but I found it faster xp than SFM because I didn't have to be nearly as careful, and it seemed the spell drop rate was better than in Seb. Nearly everything dropped spells i think. SFM I had adds galore every time I tried to do anything there :(

Burning woods here also because it is easy hunting, and for the sacrifice and minion of shadow spells I just gave the cute necro teir'dal in Overthere (Vaeran the Night? something like that) some defoliation spells that I bought for 5pp in bazaar :P We both were happy with the trade and I gave no sweat <---lazy necro sometimes
