Necro vs SK

I know this is kinda a grudge match but could anyone fill me in on details on how to battle this?

If you're still 26, and he isn't more than a level or two higher, you shouldn't have a problem, unless you let yourself stay low on health for too long -- Remember, a caster that's low on health is bait to an impatient SK. He'll let you have it as soon as he can, and it'll all be over.


I recommend bolstering magic resistance, because the only thing that should be worrying you is Engulfing Darkness.


Assuming you can bounce that consistently, simply load him up with the craptacular Level 12 DoTs -- the ones that'll land, mind you, because unless his MR is somewhere in the 70 - 80 area, EDarkness won't touch him -- and then alternate shadowsteps with lifetaps. If you see him stop to tap you, take advantage and tap him back -- Free damage, imo.


Also, depending on his poison resists, don't be afraid to use Shock of Poison. I remember dominating a shadowknight of the same level at Level 25, and all it took was the pet to distract him, while I took the time to stick the DoTs -- once that happened, it was downhill from there. He never even had the chance to HT.
