Unrest + Guk Group Event
The mysterious forces that produced Darkest Guk and Reinforced Blackburrow have spread to two other classic dungeons: the Estate of Greater Unrest and the Lost Temple of Cazic Thule. They may look the same as you remember, but adventurers who brave these areas will find familiar foes with greatly increased power, as well as a few surprising twists. Dare to enter, and claim the artifacts within!

Most of the stuff from cazic thule is no-drop.

Also from both places is Orthni (from CT) or Athlai (from BB) armor pieces, quest, lore but tradable. In PoK East of Dogle bank is a gnome NPC alongside a building named Thach Jerden - you hand him one of these pieces and he returns a class specfic piece.

Same gnome, same quest for the glowing Othni armor pieces from Cazic Thule. The reward is upgraded though, slightly upgraded AC and HP/M/E and better focus- resulting in

Glowing Gossamer for silk archetypes (40% to 85 focus!)
Restless Hide for leather archetypes
Lost Rubicite for plate archetypes
Rubicite Linked for chain archetypes

If you turn in glowing Athlai pieces from Blackburrow, you get:

Shiny Metallic for silk archetypes (35% to 80 focus)
Gnollish Chain for chain archetypes
Gnollish Leather for leather archetypes
Enameled Black (or darkened enameled black) for Plate archetypes




Also of note, found a reply on the eqlive boards regarding how long the quest gnome will be up (i.e will the glowing pieces become worthless at some time?) and how long the zone revamps last:

The (armor quest) gnome's there to stay. His "turn off" scripts only check for a start date. Once it's past that he'll spawn forever.

Once Guk and Unrest are live, Blackburrow and CT go away.

So if there's stuff you want in BB and CT you've got until May 11th

I've turned in a total of 5 of the Glowing Othni Writbands and keep receiving the same one (Poison). I had read on Allah's that it was random and have been trying to get the Disease Wrist. Any ideas? I'm not a raider and buying these in the bazaar is too expensive for me to keep going.

Yes. Hand him a glowing piece and he gives you a poison focus wrist. Hand him the poison focus wrist back (not glowing piece) and he'll give you a disease focus wrist back. You can give him wrist pieces forever and he will just continually change focus on them, never eating them. I have done this first-hand.

Now if I'd only bothered to ask that question after only two purchases instead of five, LOL!

As a side note - hand in the Disease piece and he gives you the Chromatic one (worthless for me...).
