Where are you Necs grinding AA?

I'm lvl 100, have all spells (Rnk. 2) all dot AA, etc. I've been doing the beach in Chelsith for lesson burns. I'm lazy, I root rot, I'm not looking for a lot of work when I'm just grinding AA. I do it between afks and whatnot. So I'm looking for rootable, non-summoning mobs.

Plane of shadow is pretty Awesome, root rotting the Xin Va, odd time you can get a named. Tempest. Soloable.

Upstairs in the area before Luclins chambers the mobs there that fight each other are root rot able the corrupted Akevans are spaced out far enough to not aggro each other and the good mobs they are fighting wont aggro. Im not going to bother trying to remember how to spell the named that spawns there but you can do with merc and pet tank, max spell range on that broad.

Dark Lady room is easy root rot but I run out of mobs when room is clear and have to pull outside room. Dark lady is Moloable with pet tank.

Dead hills Merc and Partisan tasks are all Moloable and interesting to do, as well as the bixies and the rest of CoF merc and partisan tasks. But I am partial to dead hills.

A note on the CoF named in instanced zones, I have found that when pet tank moloing that my pet will usually die (EM17) at halfway into fight as merc just cant keep him up. I have all 4 pet swarms up and I can cast them and some dots between FD to keep aggro down and usually its no problem to take them down.

I'll give those a shot, I've only got EM IV, but I'll see how the named go. I guess EM IV is highest groupable EM, as far as I know anyway. I was PLing my Shaman to 70 to duo with Nec but apparently some asshats decided to DNS the SOE servers. Thanks for the info.

Having a suspended pet is a good idea you can hit ec and pop him out.There is enough tiime on ec to make a new pet even. This leaves more spell gems for dots,allowing you to put more dps on the name.

I tried the named Shissar on the beach in Chelsith, think it's Flippy something or another. I got him to about 30% before the pet ate it (I'm not maxed pet AA yet but close) and then got him to about 12% before I ate it after EC and HS. I did not have a suspended pet, I've been away from game for about 2 years or so and I just forgot about it. Pet also didn't have any mage gear at all. Chelsith is T3 so I figure it's close to the same as above, given different mechanics and what not on named.

One of the nice things about the swarm pets for pet tanking named mobs is that they stun. this helps pet survivability lots. They are decent dps as well.

Fippy, Tempest and Dark lady are all doable with EM13 with the swarm pets in the mix.

Kicked me, Bob (my pet), and my Merc's ass. But I'm still getting back into the swing of things. That being said, it really kicked our ass.

I pet tank in grells (pigs) near the castle , theres a nice circle where i can go around and round.
by the time im back to entrance ramp to castle they all have re-pop, so i can go around and round.
some are blue but mostly they are whites and yellows good place to refill aa cap for glyphs for raiding burning lesson.
ive farmed all the named for my main already , theres no named in that circle its just my spot to grind up aas.

As an update I just stayed in Chelsith for AA grinding and Lesson runs. I did the beach area with the static Shissar, root rotted, and I am now working on innate cold protection! There's nothing left to get other than glyphs and I don't raid so that's not a priority. I haven't run Lesson in three or four days.
